Taquerias Guadalajara Reviews
Travel Nurse here. Just moved to this place and decided to give it a shot on my first night. Big mistake. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. Got stuck with Angel, who had a terrible attitude, and to top it off, they actually charged me $5 for a cup of ice. Ridiculous.
I’m saddened to make this post as my bf and I have been regular fan customers for the last two years. Yesterday was our last time going to Taquerias Guadalajara on 4th street in Santa Ana unless we see that the building is closed and fumigated. Late-night authentic guadalajara food. It's pricey but if your hungry, its late and craving some Mexican food, you could find some good food here. I would personally recommend the chicken torta. ( "Mexican sandwich" ) They serve beers, cocktails, micheladas, etc. Open 24 hours in the anaheim blvd location. I have so many memories here and I've seen the business grow over time and the menu changed a lot. It has improved but also gone pricier.

Taquerias Guadalajara is a restaurant with a great location and comfortable outdoor and indoor seating. The menu offers more than just typical taqueria items, with popular dishes like ahogada, a wet beef sandwich with delicious sauce, and Carne plate with good meat. The setting is simple and clean, with Mexican music playing indoors. The restaurant is pet-friendly, allowing customers to dine outdoors and enjoy the downtown Santa Ana vibe. The menu also features options like taco de papas, carne asada plate, campechana, and al pastor nachos, all of which are delicious. Customers praise their agua de melón, which is highly refreshing, and mention the wide variety of Mexican food, including tacos, burritos, quesatacos, tortas, menudo, ceviche, fries, nachos, and more. The place has an amazing Salsa Bar and offers crunchy ice, which many find addictive. Beers, micheladas, and Mexican cola are served, complementing the flavorful dishes. Service can be a bit inconsistent, but some staff members provide excellent service. The restaurant has clean restrooms requiring a coin or token, and parking is available in a paid lot next to the restaurant, with occasional free parking during certain hours. The indoor space feels like outdoors, with doors and windows everywhere, creating an open and inviting atmosphere.
