Well-appointed decor. Good service.
It was chilly indoors when I was here for dinner. Some waitstaff kept a warm jacket on while working.
My burger and old-fashioned were great.

Last night was our 12th anniversary. Blackbird staff was friendly and lovely, our outdoor seating was not too noisy and the food was exceptional. I'll add my voice to the reviews that loved the focaccia, and the smoked trout rillette was tasty. We had the scallops and risotto and for my part, I've never had a better risotto, even if it is already one of my favorite foods. 10/10 am glad I'm local and can eat there again
The hamachi crudo was crazy good. Nice twist on an old staple. Decor is great too. Nice vibe
Great spot for a late night cocktail! Especially loved the custom lychee matcha mocktail!

I had my third amazing dinner at the Blackbird. The food was excellent and this restaurant offers different specials on different days at a great price. I ordered the $2 each oysters and they were delicious and large. The order I took to go for the rib eye, never even made it out the door. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. I am making this one of my favorite restaurants in SB! Thank you Blackbird chef and staff. Awesome experience!

We are locals and have passed by this gem several times. We decided to stop in for their lspicy chicken sandwich that is a special on Wednesdays. Boy was it yummy. In addition, we ordered their brussel sprouts appetizer - also excellent, and of course, a little beer and wine. The ambience is so relaxing and yet sophisticated, and our waitperson was very attentive and gave some good suggestions. We will definitely return.
Great restaurant to relax and have wonderful food and cocktails! Only 1/2 block to the beach!
Food is fantastic, everything we had from the risotto, to the scallops, chicken, Brussels sprouts and deserts were all phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone!
However, the staff is young and rather naive and doesn’t know their own menu very well. The bartenders are terrible and rude, so don’t go here for the drinks.
Atmosphere is nice, but can be very noisy inside when busy.

Celebrating our 22nd anniversary here thought it would be a great experience, but no it was not. Food and service not to par.
Cocktails at least those we had were not that tasty. Portions were small. In general good not great.

Validated valet parking was a blessing. Service was inconsistent and slow despite 1/3 occupancy. The decor was inspired but noise level was excessive despite low occupancy and would be intolerable if fully occupied.
It was delicious. We had eaten at the Revere Room at the Miramar the previous evening, and found the food disappointing. Here the soup alone was tasty and left me wanting more. Who says that about soup? Genevieve, our server was attentive and charming.
We loved our night at Blackbird. The salad was great, Focaccia bread is a must, and the Brussels were fantastic. Oysters were the $2 special and being from the East Coast these were not my favorite, but were certainly fresh. Highly recommend.
Solid restaurant based on location but not the best. Ordered the brussel sprouts, cod, scallops and brick chicken. Nothing exciting about any of these. The service was excellent- our water glasses stayed full and our table was kept clean. The atmosphere was nice- the restaurant is nicely decorated and the location on State St is good for people watching. Restaurant is “ok” but if you want great food, maybe skip this one.

Restaurant tendance, serveurs/serveuses jeunes, service bien, plats bons. Il y a une terrasse qui donne sur la rue (passante).
