The host and servers were absolutely amazing! They were extremely accommodating when a few issues occurred and very polite and helpful. The food couldn't have been any more delicious and perfect! We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. They accommodated our requests and sat us upstairs with a wonderful view. The bartender and servers were very friendly, as were all the other guests we shared our time with...highly recommended for a great seafood meal in a beautiful setting.
Highway Hiking
This was just a 15 minute walk from our hotel. It's directly across the street from the pier. I had the salmon. It was AMAZING. The food, the drinks, and the service were all perfection. I brought my boss and two clients here for dinner, and all left with very good things to say about our experience. Thank you, Bluewater Grill!

First time at Bluewater Grill and it was a disappointment. I love seafood and while all of the fish was cooked to the proper firmness, every other aspect of the food tasted as if it had come out of a box or an industrial preparation. The dressing on the Ahi Tuna salad had very little flavor and the cherry tomatoes were off. My husband had the Misoyaki Butterfish, Black Cod; the coconut rice was so sweet he couldn't finish it. The avocado-corn relish on the Chipotle Blackened Swordfish had the tang of preservatives and the Dirty Rice tasted packaged. Even the Key Lime pie tasted like it was from a box.

Blue Water was smooth sailing! Made reservation with Open Table. Stopped easy. We were seated right away. Server Casey was outstanding, making great recommendations when asked and was patient with us. Food was outstanding and served fast. Will definitely be back. Maybe tonight!

We hit this restaurant every time we are in Santa Barbara. Is it because the terrace is magical? Maybe. Was it because the fresh swordfish we had the first time was divine? Possibly.Whatever the reason, we always have had a great experience here.
Great dinner at Bluewater Grill on the outdoor balcony. Seafood pasta and oysters on the half shell were excellent! Beautiful view of the harbor. Highly recommended!
