Bluewater Grill offers a blend of experiences in a beautiful setting, with a second floor that features outside seating and views of the ocean, close to the pier. The restaurant provides great food options for everyone, including kids, and is known for its friendly staff, from the hostess to the bartender. Some dishes have been particularly praised, such as the sushi roll, crab cakes – a hit with everyone but one reviewer – and the standout sautéed spinach. The Crab Artichoke dip is a good choice. The fish tacos, beer battered fried fish, sandabs and shrimp and scallops came blazing hot and all together. Margaritas were beautifully done. However, inconsistency in food preparation has been noted, especially with the mussels, which received mixed reviews due to shell fragments. While some meals like the fish and chips and crab legs are enjoyed for their taste and size, the cioppino has been mentioned as being better elsewhere. The ambiance, service, and overall experience have received positive feedback, with hosts working magic to get tables and wait staff loved. The 3 hosts at the front saw our situation and worked some magic to get us a table. The service was spectacular, but so was the seafood.
