This place has become a must stop every time I venture to SB now. The beach, the food, the service, and mostly the whiskey list will have me coming back constantly. Last week I went for lunch and dinner in the same day in my trip I had so much fun

They are listed as dog friendly, we drove to the restaurant and they said they don’t accept dogs even on the patio, what they suggest is to buy to go and sit by the beach. So just updated for pet parents THEY ARE NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Food was amazing!!! But the service...not so good. We had such a rude waitress and maybe it was because we went in 45 min before close but also, we called beforehand to check if they were able to take us so what's with the attitude!? Asked for a kids menu and they quite literally THREW it on the table and then when we proceeded to order off it they said we couldn't...why would you even give it to us?! Almost felt like they wanted us to leave because the bussers kept coming to check on if we were finished eating. We were celebrating a graduation and wanted a special night but that's not what we received. Food was still bomb though. Service could do better.

Amazing brunch at the Boathouse with wonderful ocean views! Fast service, great breakfast and got right in however I would imagine weekends would get quite busy. Walked the beach after, lovely morning!

Visit #1: If you’re interested in anything with salmon make sure they actually have some before you sit down ? The french toast was pretty bland and soggy but the boathouse signature breakfast was..fine. Eating on the beach is the only real redeeming factor.Visit #2: Came back out of convenience, left disappointed. We ordered “popcorn” shrimp and fish and chips during happy hour. The shrimp was under breaded and undercooked, the fish, while being well cooked, was under seasoned, and the fries were soft and soggy. The aioli that came with the shrimp was good but the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was regrettable. As if the food wasn’t underwhelming enough, we took it to go because dogs are no longer welcome in the patio seating area. I stand by my first review in saying that the o lot thing Hendry’s really has going for it is their proximity to the beach; however, maybe you shouldn’t exclude dog owners if you’re located on a dog beach.
Best lunch of all times will be back soon definitely worth every dollar.

The boathouse is a place I come a few times a year and it's always delicious. My favorite is the eggs benedict and also I like their blood orange margarita.Dog gone and I can't find the photo of our eggs benedict but it had salmon on top that they cure in house and is mind-blowing

We were able to get a table in 15mins however I heard the wait time was an hour as we exited, it gets busy for a reason.The food is really good. Their chowder was good, I like mine with some chunky veggies, this did not have that but flavor wise it was good. Shrimp cocktail with slaw was fresh and full of flavor. I enjoyed a tuna melt a lot, old bay fries were ok and there was a ton of them.My ding was the service. Empty drinks, not checking in, having to ask for our check. The guy was slow. I saw so many staff hustling or server was not.Great views and overall a decent experience.Parking: With a beach near the restaurant parking I could see parking being very difficult. I got lucky and found a spot in about 10 minutes. Just keep circling.Kid-friendliness: There were many families with kids there, and it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves.
