Great beach side restaurant. Friendly people and great bar. The bartenders were very friendly and had a variety of mixed drinks. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good especially the wedge salad with shrimp. Reasonable prices on food and drinks. Plenty of parking. The only problem is the bathrooms, there is only 2 and line was always long.
Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach is a gorgeous venue in the hills outside of Santa Barbara. It had indoor & outdoor seating with beach views and a lovely sunset. The parking is tight so we had to park a bit away. The restaurant did not take reservations & was busy so we expected a long wait. We regularly stop here for breakfast on our way north. You can't beat the location. The food is always good. The freshly squeezed OJ is worth it. And the service is always professional and friendly.
We typically go on a weekday so rarely do we have to wait for a table or have trouble with parking. Weekends are likely a different story.
