The evening was outstanding. Service was impeccable except we did have a long wait to be recognized at the reception desk. The dinner was outstanding, especially the Trio of Scallops. The Brussels sprouts could have been crisper. A perfect evening for celebrating a birthday. Will be back again.
One of Santa Barbara's best! Mitch has put together one of the most professional food service teams in the city. Every aspect of this business has been an exceptional experience for many years. My favorites are the French Onion soup on a cold evening and the Roasted Duck anytime. The soup is served in a medium size crock pot with a baked cheese top and the sweetest onions I have ever tasted for this dish. We choose Bochon for my wife's birthday dinner. We have heard about it and been wanting to experience it during our travels to the area. We are from Texas. It did not disappoint. The service was second to none and the staff not only know the menu inside and out they are also well versed in Wine which is refreshing. We were pretty tired and not too hungry after touring wine country most of the day so we ended up sharing. We shared the tuna tartar, the lamb and crème brûlée....
