In search of my morning cappucino on our trip to Santa Barbara, I found Dawn cafe. Of 4 different cafes in the last 2 days, this was the highlight. Not only did the barista make the perfect cappucino, but the beans (they roast their own) were that perfect medium roast that highlighted both the "bean" and the "burn"; a well balanced taste that got me ordering a second cup. Well done, and I went back the next day.

Such a cute lil cafe that serves coffee and pastries! Next door "Dusk" sells alcohol later in the day. Such a cool concept! The baristas were super friendly!

Our drinks were not hot (latte and matcha ) the milk was room slightly warmer than room temperature. However given the atmosphere and service it’s still overall a good place for coffee.

I stopped Dawn as I was exploring downtown. I happened by Dawn Cafe ± Market realizing that Dawn was having a Elite Yelp Event! I stopped in to get a Coffee drink and a bites. I decided on Alex's special Latte and a Ham and cheese pastry. Alex and Michelle were doing a great job of taking care of my needs as well as the other customers! The setting is quite pleasant. The space serves as the entrance to the drift hotel along with dusk the hotel bar. A very unique setup. I spoke with the hotel manager. The entire operation is online and keyless. And they are quite busy. I had a Great experience and it was Fun! Ronnie S

Dawn Cafe is such a cute addition to State Street! The baristas were friendly and funny and the cafe was cozy and bright! Ordered an iced vanilla latte with a toasted croissant and it was just what I needed as my afternoon pick-me-up! The perfect place to get a drink and enjoy the nice weather and walk on State St! Not much seating but still nice ambiance inside. I also love that the cafe is called Dawn and the accompanying bar is called Dusk, so fun and clever! Can't wait to stop by on my next State St walk!

Stopped by on a Friday morning. Fairly crowded but we got a place in the cute seating area! The inside of dawn itself is pretty small, but dusk is also opened up and available for seating. I saw some people working on the high chair tables. The decor is excellent! I honestly spent most of my time admiring the interior decorations and setup of the place, from the green and orange pops of color to the coffee books on the shelves. Customer service was very friendly and outgoing. I asked several questions about items on the menu and received a full explanation of each one! I ordered the heat check cappuccino, which contained chili. I honestly would have enjoyed it better without the chili, but I will stay on the safer side ordering next time and the drink itself was very good- just not quite my thing. However, the ham and cheese croissant was delicious. I loved the seeds on top, which added an additional crunch to the already crunchy layers of the croissant! Overall I would come back for a nice coffee pitstop while in downtown! The customer service and ambiance of Dawn is amazing!

awesome little cafe on state street. they have coffee and teas but also bagels and croissants. the coffee was amazing, I live in goleta and wokld drive the state street to get this coffee. the man working the counter was very kind and polite and was friendly to everyone. I love the modern decor and the trendy ambience of the cafe. next to it is dusk which is their wine/liquor bar. creative names and a cute place

I got a hot orange cardamom latte, it was delicious. Small shop on state so not too much seating for large groups but really cute atmosphere.

Really good coffee and pastries. A very convenient place from State Street if you're walking around. Comfy sofas.
