El Pastorcito Food Truck

The food was absolutely delicious. I had a torta it was just phenomenal. La comida estaba delisioso.

I am writing this review for a private event (taco party for a post-wedding event).

My wife and I recently had a wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and in the evening, wanted to have a taco truck for guests. We are very happy that we found Valerie and El Pastorcito to be able to host this.

They were flexible (able to help brainstorm ideas when we couldn't host at the beach), easy to work with (Valerie was very open to suggestions), and courteous (especially around allergies). Many of the guests were very happy with the food (and one person even ate 11 tacos!)

They put pineapple on their al pastor tacos, have buy 2 get 1 free on their al pastor tacos on Tuesdays, AND they have a salsa station with limes. Good hours too. What more could you ask for?

OVERPRICED & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE:
The food is pretty good but the customer service e is very poor. Their salsa bar had at least three salsas available. When I asked the tender for a couple of extra salsa cups, she gave me this expression like I was crazy and handed me one salsa cup - holding it on the inside with no gloves…?

I love taco/food trucks but I will not be going back to this one.

El Pastorcito Food Truck is hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. Their tacos were the best of my life, and the torta was absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor and their salsas were fresh, vibrant, and unforgettable. They also have more traditional meats available so you can be more adventurous beyond just the simple chicken and carnitas.

We placed a complicated, advanced order for a large event (like 80+ people) and they got everything exactly right. I was so impressed! The service was 100 percent. Even when challenges came up during our tournament, they handled everything with calm professionalism and made it all work smoothly.

They thought on their feet and made it look effortless. I cannot recommend them enough for catering large events. Truly outstanding food and a fantastic team. I would happily work with them again and can't wait to have them cater our next event.

Absolutely the worst food truck i been too. The lady was rude the food was tasteless and the tortillas were dry and tasted old the meat was so dry it was like eating beef jerky the drinks were bad as well they didn’t taste good at all, after eating a bite i started feeling weird. Definitely do not recommend, go anywhere else but here.

I was a vibe when I pulled up. And service was really good not great but food came out really quick. But here is the kicker. BEST AL PASTOR TACOS in recent history. No joke when I say they knocked it out the park. Great job fellas.

Was excited about this as i pulled up but thought it was all just a bit meh while eating. Would go again if nowhere open. I did like how they had all the different dips to take away with you. Maybe i just ordered the wrong thing.

Super convenient taco truck! We shop at Tri County a lot and love the convenience of this truck right outside. The burritos are delicious!
