Became my favorite place for a mighty fine vegan sandwich at a conference in Denver, and this branch saved me from a distressing lack of protein at my conference here in Santa Barbara. Will keep ordering here every time I’m close by!

I wanted to make sure my partner, on her first visit to California, got to try Ike's, and this turned out to be a particularly good one. The sandwiches were as fantastic as ever, but the servers were outstanding here, patient and thoughtful and friendly. I can't believe that this is the first place where somebody used a paper towel to hand me the key for the toilet—it's so gross, everywhere else, that they don't—but that server should be commended for that.

Good but today they forgot to spread the sauce on the sandwich I bought and so it was like in tiny sections of each opposite end slice of bread and tasted fantastic where the sauce was placed but the rest of the sub lacked flavor because they forgot to spread the sauce which kinda ruined the meal for me.
