L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele Taverna and Cafe - Santa Barbara

Service was slow but on thanksgiving to be expected as they were a bit overwhelmed. Food was great if you like neopolitan pizza would highly recommend.

We had lunch here on thanksgiving and the service was really slow, which I understand, but the food was really bad too. The pizza crust was good, but the topping were completely cold and saggy. It's like they put the previously cooked toppings straight from the fridge and forgot to heat it up. It was tasteless and looked unappetizing. We ate some of it and didn't say anything , because there was no point, but there's no way we'll be going back there, or recommending it.

It is sad when the server is afraid to ask the chef to modify a plate...and when it comes out wrong, not rush to correct it. Also the menu on line does not match the current offerings. This was pointed out to me with no apology.

Their pizza is soft and soggy. Doesn’t taste that great. It’s ok. French fries are good. Two servers are lousy, slow and not paying attention. Stood for 5 minutes just to be seated when the place was almost empty. Won’t go back.

The food was great and Service was even better . If you want a good Authentic pizza this is the place to come .

I read other reviews that said they were lacking in the beverages options, butI didn't think that would happen to us. I tried to order a  spritz and they were basically out of all the ingredients.  the atmosphere was a little drab and not overly welcoming. The pizzas were quite large and reasonably tasty, but they didn't come hot. I just simply wasn't impressed and I'm surprised with all the five star reviews. the waiter was very nice though

I absolutely love coming here with loved ones for their pizzas, they are so delicious! I also love how sweet the workers always are. They always check in and make sure we don’t need anything else. As well as always being ready to answer questions! I have developed a dairy allergy and yesterday was my first time back since, Frankie was super helpful and accommodating! Really appreciate his help!

We had a lovely al fresco dining experience. It was a lovely evening with excellent pizza and great service. We will be back!

Cool, old, Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara. Tight menu for drinks and food but perfectly freshly prepared and exactly as advertised. Italian classics like Milanese and pizza make this a great spot for a warm and delicious meal.

We were out for a walk and stopped by your pizzeria. The first thing we asked was whether we could use the restroom. The waiter in the photo said no — the restroom is for customers only. That immediately made us lose any interest in becoming customers, so we left.

In this day and age, refusing someone access to a restroom feels impolite and gives the impression of a low-tier pizzeria.
