Food was excellent and our server Frankie was amazing- he was the only server that night and was working both indoor and outdoor seating areas, with a smile. The other very odd issue was that the restaurant was out of ALL their red wines and only had 2-3 whites in stock (roughly half what was listed on the menu). I would have given 5 starts but there were out of many things-no fruit juices so they couldn't make most of the spritzers, beer tap wasn't working , out of the wine I selected. However, the food more than made up for any disappointments. It was excellent, everything we chose-beet salad, meatballs, pizza, pasta and sandwich were excellent. Service was good as well and it was pretty quiet, which was great for us.
Food was great, but the service was not. We were ignored for 20 minutes after being seated until the hostess noticed and came to bring us water and take our order. We ordered everything at once in case we never saw a server again. Once the food came, no one checked on us. We had to ask for silverware. Didn't get a chance to order a second glass of wine. We were seated inside and were acknowledged once the entire place cleared out. And to think 18% is the minimum for tip on...
