I don't buy ice cream often so I stopped at the 728 State Street store. Ice cream was very tasty as usual. However the scoops were markedly smaller than my last cone there.

Good ice cream, the earl grey tea & shortbread cookies was both usual and delicious

Stopped here while in Santa Barbara for the day and DAMN. Some of the best ice cream I've had in my entire life. Tried the earl grey and shortbread, mango sorbet, apple cider and cranberry jam, and eureka lemon and marionberry. All fire, but that lemon one was over the top delicious.

Delicious flavors, lots of choices, and very nice and friendly service. I wish they had a bench outside but there’s a small shaded area to the right, so that works well.

We went here for our afternoon snacks and ordered

Small 2 flavors, I think chocolate and something with caramel and the other Double with mint, and I'm not sure about the other flavor. Total: $20.64 with tips

We must say that McConnell's might be the best ice cream we have tried. It has not-too-sweet flavors and some flavors that we don't mind trying.

Overall, we are happy we tried and satisfied our sweet cravings.

I ordered a box of 6 pints of ice cream for my granddaughter's birthday. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical because this was my first time ordering ice cream... I chose Mcconnells because of the amazing flavor choices and reasonable prices. The website was very easy to navigate. When I ordered it, I expected it to be delivered In a week or two, but the package was on my doorstep the next day- I was very surprised! The ice cream is delicious and it makes a great gift for any occasion. I will definitely be ordering again, and i would highly recommend Mcconnells to anyone!

I'd heard great things about this ice cream shop and they did not lie! So many fun and tasty flavors to choose from, which they were happy to let me try. I was very happy to see they offered reusable metal spoons instead of disposable wooden sticks or plastic spoons like most spots. There were a few spots to eat inside, but it's in a great location right on the main walkway of the downtown area, so I sat outside on a bench facing the bike road instead to people watch. Great spot!
