My husband and I recently visited twice in one day on our trip to Santa Barbara-- it's that good! There are plenty of places to eat in the downtown area, but Mezza Thyme is by far the best option for great food, thoughtful service, and lovely atmosphere. The upstairs balcony is perfect for a date night to watch the sunset. I'm vegan and they have lots of great options-- I loved the eggplant plate and the falafel! The pita was unreal. We ordered catering from Saud for a company lunch and he was very responsive and accomodating. The food was excellent and we were very happy with the service we received. We would order again.

Ordered chicken Shawarma sandwich ($14), lamb/beef Shawarma sandwich ($15), falafel sandwich ($13), and grilled chicken ($17).

The service was super good, and the guys were very welcoming.
