Food was great! We tried the sweet breads- my favorite, lobster gnocchi-daughters fave, ramen-good, scallops-super lite and fresh, and the catch of the day-very tasty. The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!
Starters were great. Ambience was excellent. Mains were blah. Service was lacking. Our wine was corked. When we told our server (Kim) she didn’t seem to know what that was and it took a good 15 minutes to get it rectified. The welcome was lovely, the ambience was great, but the pork and the pasta dish were a huge let down. And the wine snafu was disappointing.
The food was delicious! And a great experience trying new things. The chef and everyone in the kitchen did a phenomenal job with their dishes and attention to detail. We did the four course tasting menu and what a great perfect choice for two! Tried Bone marrow for the first time and super good. But Sadly, the service from beginning to end was mediocre. The service lacked which disservice the food. In the end, the food is beyond the service.
