Maybe something was off for my first time trying this place. The food was not good and definitely not worth the price. I ordered the catch of the day which was supposed to be seared, but after an unusually long wait, it came extra charred on the outside and the fish was not fresh. I ordered a pinot which was a bit bitter, then had a wine cocktail which was good, thankfully. The french fries were pretty good too. My date ordered a chicken dish which was a bit cold and mostly made up of one chicken leg. Wanted to like this place but maybe we went on an off night since we chose it due to the good reviews.

Went for special event dinner; tables so close together along walls only about 1 foot apart. Very uncomfortable. The food was ok, nothing special; very expensive; the waitress did not inform us that the dessert would require and extra 30+ minutes to prepare so we sat waiting. Very bad form. That is the basic job of waitress to advise you of menu situation. We will not return. Too bad because it should have been better.

Do not miss their tasting menu. Wow. Our faves this visit included ahi crudo, short ribs, molten chocolate and a perfect creme brule'. Helpful and friendly staff. Creative wine cocktails. We will be back soon for the lamb trio.Vegetarian options: Salad and interesting veggie crepe were delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor plenty of space.

Can’t rave enough about this place. Get the tasting menu, it is the best value for money i have ever had. Food is amazing, and nice place with great service. Only thing I could complain about is that they give you so much amazing food, it was impossible not to overeat lol.

It is a beautiful, classy restaurant. Napkins freshly pressed and folded. The servers are well-trained and attentive. We had the pre-fixed menu, and the food was absolutely delicious. We would love to try the tasting menu next time when we visit SB.

We got the tasting menu. Too dry or salty - very mediocre. However it’s great value for your money!

Excellent local SB bistro! Amazing French bistro food and drinks. We had the Marrow Toast - yummy!; the Onion Soup - delicious!; the Steak Frites - superb!; and the Coq Au Vin - absolutely luxurious! A wonderful and delightful dinner. Even was surprised with an anniversary glass of champagne! Perfect service - and the hostess is truly remarkable at her service! Attentive service but not intrusive. Great design for the bistro. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed. Local SB gem!

We had High hopes. The place is beautiful, but no one seem to care about lighting, or food. The service was great, servers kind and helpful. The kitchen was putting out undercooked pasta, under salted, and over spiced food. The beet dish was very good, the soup had " cake spice" and was horrible. Sorry, we are in the business and know how hard it is to always get it right, but this was a big miss.

Great restaurant but extremely crowded. Restaurant didn't appear to be ready for the reservation holders and people were forced to wait for 20+ minutes. Still would recommend it. Come hungry as the portions are big.

Chose this restaurant by its name. Wasn't a mistake as the food was to die for. It's not a large menu but there is enough on it. I started with one of the soups that was a combination of backing spices and chunks of apples. It was so good I could have eaten gallons of it. For my main I had the fish of the day. It was a Mediterranean white fish (don't recall the name). It was sautéed with mushrooms. Very thin and flaky. I love fish and this was definitely one of my all time preparations. For desert it was a triple cream bri with jam and nuts with what is definitely one of the best “restaurant” breads I've ever had. The bread was served warm. Will be back next year.

Gorgeous ambience but the food and service were just ok. Starters were so so, the soup was overly sweet. Coq a vin and dessert dishes were the stand out, delicious! The braised short ribs had a burned taste. We didn't complain, just ate and left, but probabaly will not be back.

The prix fixe menu that is available M-Th is a fantastic value. The two first course options were both delicious, as were all three entrees and the two desserts (our party of four was able to sample each option). The back patio is quiet and pretty. Service was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. We loved our dinner here and highly recommend this restaurant.

The night's fish special was creative and tasty, but the beet/chevre/bayula cheesecake “salad” was outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly. Only complaint would be noise level—made talking across the table difficult.

Cocktails and food was delicious Wine -a younger bottle than advertised on menu was brought without comment until we noticed. The manager then made some excuse that this was what was supplied. The wine was very cold (red) and did not reach room temperature for at least 45 minutes even asked after we suggested it might be decanted. Once it was at room temperature, it was very good.
