Everything was delicious and packed with flavor. Definitely a place I’d come back to!
One of the best Asian fusion restaurants around.
- Great tequila/mezcal cocktails (Agave y Pepe + estadio nuovo wereas good as cocktail specific bars): 7.6/10
- Shrimp toast: 8.5/10 best seafood sandwich anywhere. Texture and flavor were as good as it could be. Lobster rolls don’t hold a candle to this.
- tuna + tomato crudo: 7/10 fine, like the seaweed cracker crunchiness but not enough flavor in the crudo world, not too top tier compared to some places in socal

Monte’s is truly a home run. In a town with no shortage of quality food, this place brings a unique farm to table flare to a classy atmosphere. The menu has a little something for everyone and is constantly getting better. This could soon become the next great local hang or a must-visit for anyone visiting from out of town.

Monte’s is one of the best Asian fusion restaurants around, bringing a unique farm to table flare to a classy atmosphere. The menu has a little something for everyone and is constantly getting better, featuring locally sourced produce from their farm and unique Korean-inspired combinations. The crispy Shrimp mousse toast is to die for, and the Shrimp toast is the best seafood sandwich anywhere. The soy chicken wings are crispy and flavorful, and the carrot cake is excellent. Each dish is truly exquisite, presented with remarkable artistry. The service is a standout, consistently dependable and attentive, with superb menu recommendations and thorough explanations for every dish. The lovely ambience and cutest decor are a great addition to the Montecito community. The pricing suggests it is more suited for special occasions rather than a casual weekday meal, but it is undeniably a worthwhile experience. This could soon become the next great local hang or a must-visit for anyone visiting from out of town.
