A fun spot, bartender was nice but got overwhelmed throughout the night and was kinda grumpy when it was chaotic, I don’t blame him at all, he needed help! But overall we liked the vibe and would go back again.

Extremely rude bouncer. I walked up after last call looking for a restroom, it was almost 2am so nowhere was open/ everything was closing. Asked if there was anyway I could use the bathroom as I had just been to multiple other bars asking and no one would let me in. He said “it isn’t my fault you DECIDED to pee at 2am”…….. I’m sorry what?? You don’t just decide to pee! I was very nice to him when I came up but was only greeted with rudeness. I work in the service industry myself and understand it’s frustrating to let people in after last call especially on Halloween. I’m sure he was very frustrated with all the drunk college students around but there is absolutely no reason to be rude about it. And when I asked where I could find a different restroom he said “I don’t know everything is closing”. Thanks for the obvious information and the horrible attitude.

The only time I ever come to this place is for trivia. It's one of the more serious trivia places. There are many other places in town for trivia if you are looking for a more relaxed game. The bartenders are very friendly and the atmosphere is decent. Has an old wooden vibe like the sound of the name I guess. Good pub. Reminds me a little of Dargans

Love it. Drove to Santa Barbara for a Funday Sunday, and this was our last stop before heading back to L.A. It's your perfect hole in the wall cozy bar with a friendly bartender named Nicole. They do not serve food, but they allow you to bring it which is very considerate. A couple of blocks from the downtown strip, but with reasonable prices. Will be a continued stop whenever I visit.
