The only time I ever come to this place is for trivia. It's one of the more serious trivia places. There are many other places in town for trivia if you are looking for a more relaxed game. The bartenders are very friendly and the atmosphere is decent. Has an old wooden vibe like the sound of the name I guess. Good pub. Reminds me a little of Dargans
Love it. Drove to Santa Barbara for a Funday Sunday, and this was our last stop before heading back to L.A. It's your perfect hole in the wall cozy bar with a friendly bartender named Nicole. They do not serve food, but they allow you to bring it which is very considerate. A couple of blocks from the downtown strip, but with reasonable prices. Will be a continued stop whenever I visit.
Had a great afternoon/evening at this place. The bar staff made us feel welcome and the crowd were incredibly friendly. Had a great time. Will visit again next time we're in Santa Barbara.
