Good basic mostly Sicilian food in a taverna-type atmosphere. Portions are reasonably large, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The wine list is well-curated to go with the food, and you can get 1/2 or 1/4 liter servings of all of the wines, not restricted to either single glass or whole bottle. Perfect for a pre-theater supper, but do make a reservation, because others have the same idea.

Great salads and pizzas. A nice wine list. Servers are helpful and friendly. Our top choice for a quick dinner before a concert or show.

We had a delightful expeince. Their pizzas are consisently delicious and we always have a good time sisitting at the bar and talking to Rose or whoever is on duty that evening. Such a local treasure!

This is the fifth time we have had dinner at Olio Pizzeria and have had bad service and cold food! We let our waiter know that we needed to leave for an event as soon as we sat down. We allowed one and half hours for dinner. There was only one waiter taking care of all the tables. After quite a bit of time we had to ask about our food--and it was immediately brought out to us COLD. Cold pizza and pasta which tells us it was sitting there waiting for awhile. There is just not enough staff. We had to leave and left one member of our party to pay the bill, he asked for the blll, waited 10 minutes, and then had to go inside to pay the bill. We will find another pizza place. We kept hoping things would improve but they have not.

We waited quite a while to be waited on, which was frustrating. Once we got a server, she was great. Jennifer was very kind and efficient. The food was fine.

Loved the whole experience. The food is phenomenal. My only suggestion would be that they offer a dinner side salad. We will return!

Second time dining at Olio Pizzeria and just as good as I remembered. There were six of us grabbing a meal before concert at Santa Barbara Bowl. Each couple shared a salad, pizza, and dessert. Excellent service and a delicious meal...what more can you ask for?

Pizza was very bland. So was the spinach salad The pesto was decent but no vegetables and like something I could easily make at home when I have no time.

We made reservations based on the reviews. It's a bit dark and looks more like a bar - no table cloths. The Caesar salad was excellent and my chicken scallopini excellent. The scallopini was on the menu at the front door but not inside the restaurant. I came there for the scallopini and the chef made it for me. It was exceptional and I will go back to se if they will do it again. We had some wine, and a nice dinner. I want to try the other two sister restaurants.

Convenient location to downtown cultural attractions; attentive staff; and delicious pizzas and salads--my go-to restaurant for outdoor dining and fresh Italian cuisine.

Food overall was very good . Service was a bit sketchy ... took a while for wine to arrive , no cutlery or napkins or side plates but waitress was pleasant when in attendance. Felt they wanted us out of the restaurant quickly . Overall experience was nice but expensive given it's an average pizzeria. I would recommend but not blown away.

This was the restaurant we chose for the last night of a 3-day visit to Santa Barbara. It was perfect. We had the salmon and split a pizza. Just what we needed. Dessert was yummy too. Prices very reasonable. We had the nicest waitress.
