Pizza was very bland. So was the spinach salad The pesto was decent but no vegetables and like something I could easily make at home when I have no time.
We made reservations based on the reviews. It's a bit dark and looks more like a bar - no table cloths. The Caesar salad was excellent and my chicken scallopini excellent. The scallopini was on the menu at the front door but not inside the restaurant. I came there for the scallopini and the chef made it for me. It was exceptional and I will go back to se if they will do it again. We had some wine, and a nice dinner. I want to try the other two sister restaurants.
Convenient location to downtown cultural attractions; attentive staff; and delicious pizzas and salads--my go-to restaurant for outdoor dining and fresh Italian cuisine.
Food overall was very good . Service was a bit sketchy ... took a while for wine to arrive , no cutlery or napkins or side plates but waitress was pleasant when in attendance. Felt they wanted us out of the restaurant quickly . Overall experience was nice but expensive given it's an average pizzeria. I would recommend but not blown away.
This was the restaurant we chose for the last night of a 3-day visit to Santa Barbara. It was perfect. We had the salmon and split a pizza. Just what we needed. Dessert was yummy too. Prices very reasonable. We had the nicest waitress.
Delicious with excellent service as always! From pasta and pizza to fish, all appetites were happy.
The Pizza is always the BEST, very fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The Barbera red wine was also very good. The only thing is that prices have increased significantly in the last year or so. Spending $100 for 2 pizzas and only one glass of wine (my husband just got iced tea) is a little too much. But this is the overall tendency unfortunately,
Experience was fantastic like always. We are return patrons. Thanks to all the staff that always makes it the perfect evening. Thank you to Rose, Jenny, Cleo, and everybody! Olio is a great place, with great food and drinks.
We had a lovely table outside in the courtyard. The food was very good; asparagus appetizer, Caesar Salad, Trout, Quatro Formaggio Pizze, Pollo Marsala. Staff was very attentive and polite. A great evening.
Ate here one year ago and it was excellent so I was disappointed that the food and service quality had all gone downhill. Ordered appetizer, salad and pizza. They all arrived at the same time. And everything tasted so-so. Of course the pizza went cold before we could enjoy it. I decided to forgo dessert since I was unhappy with the quality of the other items we ordered.

Great variety and presentation of dishes. Excellent service and attention to our needs by waitstaff. Indoor and outside seating. Will return again
Wonderful meal and service. We enjoyed sitting outside. Servers were attentive as always. Food delicious. Left happy and looking forward to our next visit. Grazie a tuttti😊
Dinner with girlfriends before the theater. A repeat for me, but first time for my friends
I think the DOC Margherita pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. The ingredients were super fresh and the bright flavors shined! This is a cute spot, I would go again.
Quality of the pizza has gone so downhill as to almost be unrecognizable as compared with the way it used to be. The Favorite Salad is still perfect, I will give them that. The two entrees were just ok-house made sausages and chicken marsala.
