In all the years our family has dined here we have never been disappointed. Just a terrific local establishment.
The food is always fantastic at the Olio restaurants. I've been dining there often since the main restaurant first opened (my family heritage is 100% Italian so I am quite pleased that there is a consistently excellent authentic Italian restaurant in town). The service is usually at least very good also but last night was a very off night at the pizzaria. Super long waits for getting our orders taken and other service related challenges. We had an aloof server who really didn't seem to care at all about the customers she was waiting on. The owners have always genuinely cared about delighting their customers though so I am confident that last night was just an anomaly.
The moment you walk in - hostess was so nice , made us feel very welcome to the place , seated us right away on busy Saturday night ( we did had reservation tho and I would highly recommend that , since it was very busy ) , great ambiance - makes you feel like you just took trip to Italy ! Food is just another level . Burrata , proshuto mmmmm , bruschetta - tomatoes are such a great taste ! Food was just amazing ! Thank you to all crew 🙏 you will se me and friends again and again !
You can't go wrong with Olio! Great food and even better service. Love the whole team there, it's one of our regular weekly spots!
Excellent trattoria in downtown SB! Next to their fine dining restaurant, Olio Y Limon. Wonder salads and appetizers - we had the arugula, fennel and orange segments - yummy! The pizzas are very good and wood- fired. All of the entrees are worth it. Very intimate restaurant and wonderful for a date or nice evening out! Highly recommend!
There is better pizza, but it was pretty good. The outside of the building was super cute. When we went to go pick up the pizza, there were a few ladies at the bar that were a little drunk. But the lady at the register gave us two free waters, which was nice of her. I recommend this place if you are visiting or live in Santa Barbra.

By far my favorite pizza in Santa Barbara! Cozy, friendly atmosphere. A regular favorite of ours.

We ordered 2 portions of gemeli lugano. From previous visits, the portion has reduced drastically but the price is still $27. Go figure. We also ordered the pesto pasta and same thing. Portion size has reduced quite a bit which makes it quite expensive

The food tastes just alright, and the pesto sauce doesn't seem freshly made. The price isn't worth it.

I would return again. Basic Italian menu without any fancy items. The special prosciutto pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and Favorita salad were all excellent. It was a warm weekend and all of the outdoor tables were taken. We sat inside and only one other table was occupied. It was HOT. Segio was an outstanding server.

After we got seated outside , it took us 20 mins for our server to encounter us and our food also took a while to come out as well as getting the check. We asked our server for condiments and never got them and by the time our server came back to check on us, we already finished our plates. It's also really hot inside the place so I recommend sitting outside. Otherwise the food was good.
Service was terrible. No one greeted us for nearly 10 minutes and there was no one else in line. There was no a/c and it was very hot. After we finally sat down no one came to the table for over 15 minutes so we left.
Always an excellent experience. The atmosphere is comfortable and intimate with tables throughout the courtyard. The pizza is amazing and the service is great - letting you dine leisurely without rush. Just a great time
First time going. It was a little hard to find the entrance (the door is off of the parking lot) but it was very cute, quick, and the mushroom truffle pizza was amazing!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of pizza, pasta and salad options that are vegetarian.
Wheelchair accessibility: I would not say that this restaurant would be very wheelchair friendly.

My son has a nut allergy which we alerted the server of, but he ended up having a reaction to a dish. When we asked about the ingredients it didn't seem that anyone knew, which is a problem if you are an establishment that serves food. You should know what you are serving, and any allergens.
