The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered to go because my husband wasn't feeling well. The entire meal from beginning to end was fresh, clean and tasty. They certainly use fine ingredients which is so hard to find. We do not eat anything from a package or eat any bad oils so this find for us, is a big win. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very kind owner. We will be sure to dine in while here in Montecito.

favorite italian restaurant in the area. I always request the patio when calling to make a reservation. service can be a bit spotty depending on how busy they are but food is always good and a great wine list!

Nice location. Good food. Very slow service, people were actually walking out after being seated because of how long it took to get served, partially due to extreme understaffing and partly due to staff spending time socializing with some tables while other tables couldn't get timely service.

I was disappointed in the fish special. The fish was dry and overcooked and even though it had a lot of sauce it didn't help the dried out fish and I expect more for $38 Skip the fish special-not worth it. It did come with a few mussels and clams but it didn't do it justice because the fish didn't excel. I do recommend the penne ala vodka. I ordered the pasta Al dente and it came out spot on. When I asked for extra bread to go the waitress said there would be a charge. I would expect that she would not even attempt to charge for extra bread when I'm taking the pasta home because it was a good portion plus I didn't send back the fish special which was dry (I did bring it to her attention and she brought me extra sauce to help with the dryness but it still didn't help because it was halibut. I also had fettuccine Alfredo for my daughter and she didn't want to eat it, she preferred the penne ala vodka because they skimped on the Alfredo sauce which usually 6 year olds love. This is the first time my daughter didn't like fettuccine Alfredo. Maybe I just ordered the wrong food this time? I came here because the reviews were good and I was disappointed.

Most amazing Italian restaurant I've been ever too. Really cozy, warm, inviting, and clean. The staff were amazing and you can tell they've been working together for a long time and are a staple in the community. They knew so many customers by name and so many warm hellos were given, it definitely made the food taste better! The locals near our table told us they've been coming for over 10 years and it never disappoints. And the food! The food was phenomenal and perfectly seasoned/cooked. It came out quick and the staff was immensely attentive. The menu had a great range of pasta to meat to veggies and other unique authentic items. From lamb to cacio e pepe to orrata (fish) to pumpkin ravioli! They're generous with portions and the price is very reasonable. I noticed a lot of large to-gos going too and I can see why.I'd say if you're in Santa Barbara or Ventura County ever, this is MUST STOP ICONIC FOOD LOCATION that's been around for 30+ years!

Everything was very good, ambiance, service and food! Looking forward to going again. We sat outside and seemed perfect, inside seemed a little bit loud?

WTF! They hung up on us three times tonight, seemed annoyed they had to provide the specials, let their phone go voicemail for an hour during dinner, then picked up and put us on hold for 20 minutes and never took our order. Going elsewhere. 7pm Friday April 28th. Hope owner reads this!

It's a beautiful tucked away gem. It seems like it's more of a locals restaurant. The staff new most of the people coming in. Impeccable service. Ambience was beautiful. We dined outside. The artichoke appetizer was the best artichoke I've ever eaten. My pasta special was delightful. It had halibut, artichokes, and tomato. Plenty of dairy free and pescatarian options. You will be happy you gave it try.

A quaint, classic little Italian spot in upper Montecito that delivers every time. The food is always so so good, and the atmosphere is lovely. Our favorites are the full fish dish, the carpaccio, and the tiramisu for dessert (a must try!)

Beautiful dinner shared with new friends last night at @paneevinosb…perfectly grilled veal chop topped with fried rosemary and sage, served with a side delicious seasonal veggies!Highly recommended this place, not only for the fantastic food, but the welcoming and friendly hospitality that reminds me of the family trattorias in Italy.
