Pearl Social Santa Barbara

Bar decorated with a lot of taste. They also have an outside area with patio heating. our server very friendly and professional. the cocktails spectacular even those we ordered outside the menu. we had a really good time.

We were here for a wedding. The venue was beautiful although the venue next door had a love band and it was pretty loud. There were nice little areas to sit and chat away from the established dining tables and they had heaters to keep the outdoors areas from being Too chilly. It only had one bathroom for all but it was large, clean and well stocked.
They tried too hard on the food. Some of it was just not edible. (The beef tasted like toothpaste.) Some was delicious. It was hit or miss.
The staff were the most impressive thing about the place. Excellent customer service.
We also had breakfast from this place the next morning. That was excellent.

Incredibly rude staff. Walked in and there was no one at the front gate. Walked further assuming we would be greeted at some point given there was two male employees standing and observing at the entrance. One seemed to be a managerial type, which seems to me that he should have made sure the front was covered if the hostess is seating a table or at the very least keeping track of people coming in as they enter.

My partner and I sat ourselves at a table like any other normal bar, since we were not at any point greeted, approached, or welcomed. I got up to use the restroom just to have the managerial type man approach me aggressively to ask if I had been sat by a hostess. I told him no because there was not one upon entering and we weren't sure what the deal is. (Knowing full well he had watched me partner and I walk in together approx ten minutes before., so I'm not sure why he felt the need to approach me, by myself). He proceeded to passively state that they might be fully booked and we needed to see the hostess immediately (there were less than 20% of the tables full inside and out).

Upon meeting the hostess outside she informed us it was $10 a person and we could only sit at the bar.

Terrible experience here. So many things could have been approached differently. Will not ever come here again. Which is a shame because I have been singing their praises all holiday season and SENDING people their way.

Server stole $50 by writing in his own tip. The service was also terrible. My server was no where to be found 90% of the time and there were only 2 other tables in the whole place. Go anywhere else.

My family and I were so happy to finally be able to go to the miracle pop-up. However, our visit was not so wonderful. Our waiter was hard to find half the time, and we even went in the daytime, and only two other tables were occupied at the time. There was a miscommunication on the payment with another party, so we ended up paying over the phone. I told the waiter NO, I did not want to leave a tip. He then asked WHY...I said no thank you ...he then hung up on me. Well, after looking at my card statement, he DID give himself a tip. Horrible service. Horrible experience. HORRIBLE. My total bill should of been 184.88....My card was charged 221.86. Unacceptable.

If you paid with a CC, make sure to confirm the amount transaction. Went there on Sunday for their Christmas theme and paid a total of $256.86. I already had a weird feeling about this place, especially since we were only attended once, even though the place was half empty. Well, while I’m reviewing my transactions today, I noticed that I was charged $286.86! That is $30 more, and like I mentioned before, I had a weird feeling so I thankfully took photos of the receipts to make sure they charged the correct amount. I went ahead and started a dispute with American Express, but I would stay away from this place.

Unreasonable waiting times and bad attitude

If your website says you’re open at 5 it would be best to either change your website or train the staff. We arrived at 5:15 with door open to be told bluntly they weren’t open. Not the preferred level of service.

Aesthetic is amazing. The service is great! Shout out to Garrett! The floral gin I had was amazing! Really cool place.

We were waiting for a table to go dinner in the Lark, so a drink here was just perfect.

We held our wedding reception at Pearl Social and it was perfect! Our wedding was on the smaller side -- 55 people -- so we needed a space that was intimate. Pearl Social was literally perfect and we loved that there was a small outdoor space as well.

The drinks were incredible and so many people commented on how good they were. Our friends rallied hard and the Pearl Social team was super accommodating to it.

We worked with Megan to plan the event and she was extremely helpful in coordinating everything.

Highly recommend holding any event here! Thank you Pearl Social team!
