Took a long time to be seen. But once we were contacted the service was great. Just looked understaffed.
There is an outdoor area with games. The inside had a big screen playing sports while there was music in the background. It was a cool vibe.
We got the carne asada fries and they are big enough for 2-3 people. Large beer selection on tap.
Great beer and great food.
I didn't have any food, just a couple beers. I wasn't overly impressed with the beers I had, but they have a large selection so I'm sure there are some great ones in there. Overall, super nice people and a great atmosphere, so I will definitely go back and try some other beers.
Great beers here!! Such a cool spot.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Friendly bartender

Went here for a late lunch before checking into our hotel. We sat down at a pic-nic table out on the patio. You order at the bar, so I went inside. The bartender, was unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful. Every response was a 1 word, short rude tone...or he just pointed. His attitude was super negative as if we were a burden.
We had to ask for everything from napkins to silverware and had to wipe down our own table prior to taking a seat.
Food was okay. Cauliflower bites were good. Chicken sandwich was meh. When it arrived the bottom bun was mushy and soggy.
Beer was good, food would have been acceptable but the whole experience was less enjoyable by the very grouchy and unpleasant bartender.

Craving for good beer in Santa Barbara. Glad we did. Great crispy cauliflower bites, fish & chips, & self built smash burger paired them with Rincon IPA. They were well made.
Parking: Outer edge of Funk district & not as pricey.

4.5 stars, would be 5 but the fries were kinda meh. everything else was perfect, we came early and it was dead which was nice because we had our dogs which enjoyed the nice sunny patio. our food came out quickly, my smash burger was excellent, love the thinly cut onions and my mom loved her breakfast burrito, she got it without cheese but it was still flavorful and moist. and the server was very friendly. overall highly recommend, hopefully they change their fry recipe and then it’ll be the 100% perfect spot.

Great spot. Staff is friendly and attentive. Really laid-back considering the location and the foot traffic in surrounding area. Good variety of beer - the Rincon WCIPA is my go-to and the Dry Irish Stout is a strong contender.

Worst place to eat in Santa Barbara. I tried to take my mom out to celebrate the guy running the place never came by, said hi, introduced or even tried to suggest anything.
Worst is we order fish and ships which were uneatable-taste and felt bathed in oil. So gross. My poor mom. She said she’d rather eat the fish sandwich at mcds.
I ordered the pesto sandwich which had chunks of avocado and pesto had great flavors. My issue is they have up charges for all sides (except potatoe chips; yes you get charged for fries) so they charged me $2.50 for the onion rings which were 3 sad onion rings that were soggy and again tasted like pure oil. The onion itself was like bathed in oil (see photo) I took one out of the onion ring because it was so oily I couldnt eat it.
Needless to say the bill was $50 for which only one sand inch was eatable. Complete waste and the host never bothered to ask or do any kind of customer service but he had no problem ringing me up and having me pay upfront the $50.
Also any condiments are no were to be found. I had to flag him down and ask for ketchup and he just left it on the counter and said “here’s the ketchup.” Btw-We got one napkin each. Nothing extra and no effort. A waste of money. There’s ppl here because of its location. But like my mom said ppl are way nicer and help you at a local McD’s’s so what’s there excuse for crapy customer service and below par food?!
