Excellent Funk Zone Burger! You can tell that quality ingredients are used as one would expect from this well-known Santa Barbara family. Burger was cooked perfectly with tasty cheddar, served on a toasted brioche bun . Also had fries and a beer. Nice relaxed place to get a burger. I’ve purchased (excellent) meat from their butcher shop, this was my first time eating at the restaurant in this location. I’ll definitely return.Support small business, shop local!
The tri tip sandwich was tasty, but the side of corn was really bland. It tastes like boiled corn without the street corn flavor. It was topped with some cotija cheese and chili, but it didn't seem to add any flavor to it. I think it might have been missing the mayo spread component? I added some of the garlic aioli from my fries and that helped it a bit. I wouldn't get it again for $8.50 for a tiny cup.
