Busy Memorial Day weekend - but of all the wine tasting rooms we visited in the Funk Zone, Erica and Ashton at The Valley Project were the best! They took the time to explain the wines of course, but also were fun and engaging in conversation. The whole place just had a great vibe. Also, they have two very different flights to choose from. Highly recommend!
Good service and a nice tasting room. Wines are good but not great. $25 for a flight of 5 wines.
We had the most wonderful wine tasting experience at The Valley Project thanks to Erica! She was an absolutely amazing host — so knowledgeable about the wines, the region, and the stories behind each pour. You can really tell she’s passionate about what she does, and she explained everything in a way that was both informative and fun.

The Valley Project is an exceptional location for wine enthusiasts. The hand-drawn map offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the region and appreciate its diverse microclimates. The staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, providing excellent service and a chilled, unpretentious atmosphere. Zach is awesome—he knows his wines and describes them in a very entertaining, passionate way. The wines are gorgeous and utterly delicious, like the Albariño, Sauvignon blanc, chenin blanc, and carignan. The place is decorated with informative art and books, making it a great starting point for getting into the wines of SB and the surrounding area. Many consider it their favorite tasting room in terms of quality and service.
