Literally the best sandwich shop ever. The service was absolutely top notch. Sam was so nice to our kids! Ingredients were fresh and so good. Plus, didn’t have to pay extra for avocado which is always incredible.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodation to my kids!

Not all “Sam’s to go” are treated equally nor are they owned by the same person thank God. This location is amazing— the Veggie delight was amazing and the owners are so sweet. Definitely going to make this my new lunch spot.Avoid the location on Milpas— the owner is insane and their quality is awful.

It's a shame I have to write this review because I did have a nice experience the first time I went a couple weeks ago. Sandwiches are big, average price, and were pretty good (although nothing special or unique). The two owners, a couple who also run the place themselves, were very friendly in person. Today I tried to order on the phone and couldn't even get my order out because after every word I said I would hear "Ok, next? Ok, next?" from the guy. I can't tell you my second sandwich order if you're not even going to allow me to tell you the toppings I want I on my first one. The store is frequently empty so I doubt he was busy. So I hung up the phone. Got a call back minutes later and answered, assuming the owner likely had realized his mistake and wanted to make it right. Instead, as I explained the issue with trying to place my order he argued with me, cursed at me (called me a piece of sh*t if I remember correctly), and hung up the phone. I won't be returning, and if I were you I wouldn't trust someone like this to make my food.

I love this shop!! I used to come all the time when Iona's younger and the owner would give me extra meat for my dog. I definitely still enjoy the sandwiches and the prices are about the same as when I came years ago.
