So sad to just finding out this restaurant CLOSED forever since July 1st ???. This restaurant was part of some of the most amazing moments of my life. We always came from far just to come here. We are now moving out of state and it is so sad I did not get to try it one more time.
Truly a tragic day on the Mesa. I am in mourning. The origin of innovative, maximalist, ethnically-informed, plant-based cuisine has closed their doors forever. My favorite restaurant since its inception nearly 10 years ago. When I didn't feel well this food was the medicine I sought. When there was cause for celebration this is where we reveled. Mesa Verde Restaurant was known for its beautiful and delicious food that is as amazing as it looks. The green bowl, Mediterranean bowl, jackfruit tacos, hummus platter, Fairfax Benedict, and American breakfast are excellent choices. The Caesar salad is a standout dish, described as the best ever tasted. Visitors appreciated the friendly service and dedicated owner, making it one of the best food experiences in Santa Barbara. The restaurant offered a variety of vegan and vegetarian options, with a relaxed, earth-inspired interior and easy parking. Its smooth flooring and no stairs made it accessible for wheelchairs. Sadly, Mesa Verde has closed forever since July 1st, leaving many customers heartbroken after nearly 10 years of serving nourishing, flavorful meals that brought joy and comfort to their lives.
