I've been coming to Sanguis for almost 8 years, and it never disappoints. I've celebrated many special milestones here (bachelorettes, engagements, birthdays and more) - and we keep coming back because of the incredible hospitality from the staff, elevated tasting room experience and of course the unique wines. It truly is the best hidden gem of Santa Barbara wine tasting. Special shout out to Teal for making our most recent visit one to remember!
Truly excellent people and wine
An exceptional experience. Would call this a hidden gem of Santa Barbara. Will be coming back again and highly recommend to other to try
This place was amazing. My wife and I went to Santa Barbara for our one year anniversary trip. I made reservations online which was quick and easy. They actually called me to let me know they could take us earlier, which worked out perfectly for us. When we got there, we got to sit outside in a socially distance area while learning about the winery and tastings. Their selection was great and the service was excellent. We bought a couple bottles based on the tastings. The Bossman was my favorite.
Overlooking this winery is a miss. One of the premier spots of the entire region.
Really enjoyed the experience! Great inventive wine, and very creative labels.
The wine is expensive but fantastic and worth it. The employees are super chill. Don't just show up and expect a tasting, they are looking for appointments. This isn't a drunken stumble through the wine trail spot, it's worth making your only stop of the day.
Great wines. Should try them all
Dare I say this is the best wine in Santa Barbara? Really, I think it is. Do not miss this place if you're from out of town and you want to see what SB County has to offer.
Best in SB. Every wine is top notch. Appointment required for tasting, and it's free, because you'll want to buy cases of their wine. Really, really good.
