Used to love this place before they changed locations. This was a go to spot whenever I was in Santa Barbara because of their unique frozen wine "slushees," and their cozy intimate atmosphere. After relocating, I've been here about 4 times and the vibe just isn't the same. Although a lot more spacious with more game options, it feels like you're inside a frat house or basement. Their wine slushees are still great, but the customer service has gone down and the feel of the place is just completely different from before.

Wine therapy is like almost cool, but epically misses the bar. They have all these games which is fun, but interesting rules. For example, you can’t build with the domino blocks but can with the Jenga blocks. Also you can’t play cards there, you can’t have big groups, and the bartenders want groups to stay for an hour max. The manager seems to be the one enforcing these particular rules, and the bartenders were made to tell them. The staff were honestly kinda giving me weird vibes, and making me feel nervous and uncomfortable. They also made my group of 7 move from one table to another similar size table? Not really sure why, maybe because they wanted the couch for a different customer? I’m not really sure but it felt kinda unnecessary and a little rude. I wish this place was more chill, because they try and present that vibe. Wine therapy has chill outdoorsy decoration, but uptight management that enforcers unclear and uncomfortable rules. I feel like they tried to make a unique and quirky Santa Barbara local spot, but created an upright bar for tourists and cringe millennial men. Also one of the guy bartenders with tattoos and dark hair kinda smells like tuna fish.

So we order a couple Sangrias which are tasty, and my husband accidentally bumps the table & breaks his almost full glass. Too bad, so sad. Do they offer another one to replace? No. We ask for another to replace. She recites some bull about " once it leaves my bar I'm not responsible". I didn't say you're responsible, just asking to replace a glass that was accidentally spilled. Nobody's drunk, or obnoxious. We're not those people. I don't expect stuff for free, just common courtesy.

This place was fun and cute! They play sports games on multiple TV's and there are a lot of games, which would be fun for a date or social day. Sad the photobook didn't work. Food was decent. Shrimp ceviche was good. Bruschetta toast was on cheap bread. If the bread was better these would have been better, in my opinion. Drinks were excellent. I was sold by the sangrias. Service is okay, go up to the bar and order everything and they will bring it to you.

Decided to go out for a drink last night and walk my pup Tank. Was walking down Haley St to the state st promenade and came upon a bar called Unbearable and Wine Therapy...went in as they advertised dogs were ok inside. Ordered a blueberry Frose...was so good! The bartender Jasmine was great! Made my pup feel at home with dog beds and a menu for dogs! Ordered him a Skinny girl which is Salmon and Sweet potatoes. Wow! He ate like a king! Will definitely come back and tell all my friends with dogs! They even have an outdoor patio with couches and firepits! Awesome place and staff! Thanks for the great evening!

We love this place, and so does our dog!! We have been trying to find more dog friendly spots to have a bite to eat/a drink and this place is one of our faves. The back patio is such a great spot to hang out. They have games, and a great happy hour! They even have a food menu for dogs!

This is really a fun place. Whether you like pool or ping pong or something else, they have it for you. The atmosphere is really fun, feels like a hall full of games and drinks. Such a different vibe from when they were at their old location on state st. I have not had the food, but I will try some the next time i'm in there....One thing that you should really take note of is that their is a space outside between wine therapy and the cruisery...they have firepits and couches...total date place...and its a bit hidden unless you know its there.Parking: Lots of street parking. Always spots on chapala

An adult playground I never wanted to leave! Had the best time here playing their games and drinking their unique frozés! They also have such a fun Photo Booth. Bring some extra cash with you to use the skee-ball machine and the photo booth. Wine therapy is fun both during the day and at night. It is such a great place to get together with friends. Also, super dog friendly! I could stay here all day while visiting SB!

We came here on a Sunday night, the same as the summer solstice fest. Little did we know a lot of places would close earlier than posted business hours (on Yelp). We saw they were open much later so opted for Uber. This place was no exception, though. First, Uber has a different address than where we actually found the new location (something with a bear in the title). As soon as we walked in we were told they already did last call and are closed. We looked around and saw people still playing games and hanging out. But fine, we were ready to keep looking elsewhere. The bar tender made an exception and allowed us to order some beverages. We got the frose and hibiscus hijinks. Both were reaaallllyy good! they were strong but so tasty and refreshing. We've tried a local version of frose and attempted a homemade but none come close. The drinks really boosted our night because our streak was not fairing well at that point.

Totally fun place. Great for a first date. Their big stick frose was amazing!! The games here are so much fun, jenga, skeeball, ping pong, shuffleboard, and tons of board games. Dogs are for sure welcome. When I am back in the area, we will for sure be back!

A cute spot. I love a Stolpman rosé and the cocktail we ordered was delish. Make sure you order inside at the bar so you can catch a little sun outside.

I so wanted to love this place. The vibes are amazing and it ostensibly seems like an extremely queer-friendly space. But I've had nothing but negative interactions with the masc staff here (except for one person who is wonderful), and I really felt targeted as a trans-masc person. While the femme staff here are wonderful and I genuinely love the drinks, I don't want to come to a place where the people working there are just straight-up rude. You might have a better time, but I'm not planning on going back there.
