My neighbor invited me to have lunch with her for my birthday. She named a few places near us, but I picked I Scarlet Begonia because the food is consistently delicious, well-presented, and always satisfying.

My friend ordered the Benedict and I told her that I’ve never seen a Benedict with greens, which is the extra step that Scarlett begonia takes to make their food extraordinary vs. ordinary.

The potatoes were well prepared and there was so much food that she had to take half of it home. It was quite beautiful as you see in the picture and very tasty.

I’ve eaten here a few times and once I tasted their lemon ricotta pancakes it is my go to Every time. Even though it was 1 o’clock in the afternoon, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to eat these fluffy and moist pancakes that are so light they melt in your mouth! I usually can only eat one pancake, but they were so good I had to eat two, so I indulged. I also ordered the sausage links for the first time and asked for them well done and they came out. Perfect! I needed the extra protein and I already had bacon at home so wanted something different. Those sausages were just delicious and a perfect compliment to the sweet blueberry sauce on the pancakes.

Kaylee was our server and she was the most professional, accommodating, friendly, efficient server I’ve ever encountered in Santa Barbara. I asked her if she was a manager because her demeanor and professionalism was outstanding ask for her he won’t be sorry.

I was pleasantly surprised when they brought my chocolate cake with strawberries and a candle. I still have some in my refrigerator because I was so full from breakfast. I’m going to save it later during the football game. !

The Lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious and generous. The atmosphere is nice especially the patio at the back on a sunny day. However, I was surprised by the surcharge of 60 cents. When I inquired I was told that this was for using the credit card although this was not communicated by the server. It just showed up in my bill. Although it is a small amount, the principle of it bothers me a little. It was interesting to observe the menu for pets with line items like water..... free and other food items with a price line. I am sure dog owners must like this.

We used to go to this restaurant for brunch each time we visited SB, but it appears the quality has gone down hill. My husband ordered the endless summer scramble. The vegetables weren’t cooked. The onions were supposed to be caramelized but they were steamed

We informed the server and he was very nice and apologized, but the cooking staff seemed to be going to fast and cutting corners.

Delicious brunch! The brunch is still delicious, and in all fairness I believe they were under staffed. With that being said other tables around us were being attended to. We waited 45 minutes before our order was taken. Our food arrived after another 25 minutes .except for mine, that's when I was told they were out of cinnamon rolls. I ordered pancakes. They arrived when everyone else was finished. Our 15 month old was over it. :)

Menu emphasizes fresh seafood and locally sourced produce

Food sucked - summer scramble had all watery, tastless vegetables - no seasoning, not carmelized onions, not crispy potatoes

Despite arriving for brunch at a very busy time, we were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Great red eyes and Smoked Salmon Benedicts. Lovely spot with art filled decor. A Santa Barbara fave

The food is absolutely delicious. The dirty fries and cinnamon roll are a must. Additionally, they have a robust drink menu that is really fun and inventive!

Came here for lunch post-wedding ceremony. The staff was so accommodating. I had called multiple times, and changed my guest reservation three times. Staff was always professional, and kind. I also asked about table covers. They accomodate per table, with a small fee. When my wedding party arrived, it was perfect. As a whole, the place has a rustic look. At the time, it was quiet, not crowded. My reservation was at noon. I had almost 20 guests, and we were situated in this area with rose wall paper. It just so happened to go with our outfits. Beautiful ❤️. I recommend reading the yelp reviews on what foods to choose :) Parking is at the back of the establishment. There is a large public parking lot. Thank you all who serviced us this day. (The photo provided is showing the backdrop of the area of the restaurant we were in. Cake was our own).

Visited this restaurant over the weekend and was sort of disappointed all around. The service was bad, after being sat we waited what felt like forever for our server to come take our order. After they took our order they didn’t visit our table once to check on us. We had to flag someone down to refill our water, which was served at room temperature, and with no ice. I wish the water was at least a little chilled.
The food was decent, but nothing special. I ordered the cinnamon roll, which came partly cold in the middle /: I ordered the biscuit and gravy with an egg on the side. The biscuit was dry but the gravy was good. My partner ordered the wagyu sandwich with dirty fries on the side. The beef was good, but overly saucy that it had the bread really soggy and mushy. The dirty fries were good, but were overly sauced which just felt like compensation.
I don’t think id ever return to this restaurant.
