Bouchon Santa Barbara offers a nice covered outdoor atmosphere with a great wine list. The waiters are knowledgeable and friendly, guiding you through the menu and wine selection. The crab cakes are very good, though a bit more breading than some might prefer. The steak aux poivre is an excellent choice, with perfectly cooked asparagus and delicious sauce. Desserts like the chocolate lava cake and profiteroles are sublime. Despite a minor error with an order, the staff is gracious and prompt in correcting it.
