The cashier was friendly, helpful and informative. The menu consists primarily of bar food with nod to SoCal BBQ. The restaurant location near the back of the Public Market provided ample seating for groups of all sizes. The abundance of wall-mounted televisions is sure to sate the appetite of even the most carnivorous of sports fans.

The Single Shooby with two patties is a good size and I liked the bun and char on the patties. However, the special sauce was very salty/tangy and overpowered the burger. I would order it on the side. The smashed patties also had a salty crust to them so it was just a lot of salt all around. However, the quality of the food was good and I would opt for a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion next time.

There’s people here. And fake olive trees. Huge chandeliers full of driftwood. I feel less tired now, yet not uncomfortable. Usually being out of the house makes me itch down to the bone. I get hot and rashy, I feel the need to escape before anyone I’m with is ready to depart. On this occasion, I am alone. Alone because that is the way the universe wants it, because I didn’t push it. They tell you to fight until they tell you not to force. I get lost in thought quite frequently, that’s nothing new. It’s almost as though I’m not here…“That’s not the card reader,” says the young man behind the bar. I am startled, gazing down to realize I am hovering my phone over the buzzer thing they give you, the brick that beeps and vibrates when your order is ready to be picked up. I hand over my phone sheepishly before discovering a second surprise…It’s happy hour.

I was very, very excited to eat here. I had heard it was the best burger in SB. Long story short - it is very over priced, small, and a very average burger. No idea why the hype exists. The burger itself was by no means bad, but it tasted identicle to a hot/melty McDonald's double cheeseburger; but 3x the price. I'm glad I came here, but I wont buy it again.

All the meats are dryIf you like medium rare you are out of luck for sure .They don't have a regular burger .Just double thin slices of dried out burger meat . The tri tip was sliced so thin there was no way It could not be dried out. Was told it would be medium rare, but was beyond well done , could hardly eat it took took three bites and threw it out. Service awful - ask for takeout and it arrives on a tray - you asked to eat there and it arrives in a bag to take out!Service very slow .Fries were not crisp as ordered Prices are very high .

I never post reviews on Yelp but this experience was so bad, I felt I had no choice. We ordered carry-out online. I got a burger, chose the "wrap" option, and paid an extra $1 for lettuce and extra $2 for avocado. Nowhere on the website did they say "wrap" meant lettuce wrapped, but it was. There was also literally 0 avocado which I paid $2 extra for. They also put an obscene amount of mustard on it. It was honestly just so disgusting, I only ate 1/4 of it. I also paid 50 cents for a side of garlic aioli but they just gave me straight-up mayonnaise. The double Shooby with cheese barely had cheese on it. Just utterly flavorless. The whole thing was a disaster. We honestly couldn't finish any of the food. I will literally never ever go back here. I would give 0 stars if I could. This restaurant robbed me of my money and inner peace.

I tried the breakfast smash and the oat smoked yep tip sandwich and both were super tasty! Didn’t have any problems with the service either.

I knew I loved Shalhoob's and the market location is great because there is plenty of seating and there are a variety of food options. We had a breakfast sandwich, chipotle peach rib tips and the street corn. Delicious! Lots of napkins needed

Highly recommend if you have food allergies!Carter and Alicia were incredible tonight with my food allergy. Not only did they talk with me on the phone before I came over, but they spent extra time looking up each item from what I was going to order to verify it was safe.

If you love burgers then you have to check out Shalhoob's at the Market. It's located Santa Barbara Public Market and has one of the best burgers in Santa Barbara. I went with the Single Shooby and it was super good. They smash the patty really thin so when you bite into a Single Shooby, you get an amazing crunch. The cheese, caramelized onions, and special sauce all complment the burger perfect along with the sesame bun. But the real gem here is the Shooby Fries. Basically this is a gormet version of In and Out's Animal Style fries. Everything is the same but the ingredients take this to another level. The special sauce is a little more tangy and the onions are better caramelized. Just super delicious. In conclusion, Shalhoob's is a must try! From what we had everything tasted amazing. Next time I look forward to trying the Breakfast Tots as that looks like a tator tot version of the Shooby Fries. Can't wait. And if you haven't been here definitely check it out!
