Above average sized inexpensive hotdogs. Add the salsa and lime to the al pastor or carne asada dogs.

If you love hot dogs and tacos you will love this place. We got both the carne asada hot dog and al pastor dog and both were super tasty. Hot dog is wrapped in bacon with melted cheese cheese, cilantro, Mayo, mustard, and ketchup. They also sell tacos and tortas which I imagine are also legit.Personally we preferred the carne asada.

Best Pastor in town. Plan on having a nap if you get the large pastor hot dog. Order the grilled peppers on the side.

After a very long, hungry walk up Milpas Street on a Saturday evening as many restaurants were starting to close, we stumbled upon this place - almost out of desperation. What a great surprise! There are just some places you get the feeling that there is authentic food being served by people who care and this is one of those great alternatives to the much hyped "local famous places" and the franchises. My one word of advice: "Do not place it safe and order regular tacos!" Go for something adventurous, like I did with the platter called costillas de puerco (pork ribs) that comes with perfect rice and beans and a spicy "chile verde" type of green sauce. The meat just falls of the bone - absolute perfection when paired with the handmade (thick) tortillas. My Peruvian wife just loved her bistec americano, which is sort of a beef stew served on a platter with perfectly seasoned meat and potatoes. The service was excellent and you really feel like your were at home in this setting. We are so glad we did not just keep walking another 3-4 blocks to the "famous" place. This place is a GEM and please give them your business.

Good food, friendly people, homemade tortillas, great prices, and some unique menu items. I regret not stopping sooner. For a recent dinner we had a lengua taco (not bad), a shrimp taco (delicious sauce and homemade slaw), a pork belly taco (not bad, but it was tender cubes of pork. I was expecting a slab.) and I simply had to try the pork rind taco (yum!). My companion had the asada burrito and loved it. The sauce, cheese, rice, and perfectly marinated steak combined with the homemade tortilla was a winner. We will be going back without a doubt.

The tortillas and salsas are all handmade. Everything is fresh and delicious. Friendly counter service. If you just need a few tacos to tide you over or if you're hungry for a sumptuous lunch or dinner, check out Pipeye's. Very reasonable pricing. Just excellent. Just GO!

Sofi is a hidden gem. This little food truck located right next to Crown Liquor has a great menu that is easy to navigate. In addition to their signature hot dogs they have tacos burritos tortas with your choice of meat as well as Mexican comfort foods like quesadillas and daily specials that could go toe to toe with any small restaurant. Food is fresh and flavorful the service is friendly and prompt. Prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The owner/ cook is a friendly, and treats his customers like kings and queens. His nickname is Seguro, and he gets 5 stars!
