The best carnitas torta I have ever had in my life, by far. Well worth the $18
Good tacos
I have to be honest—when I first came here in 2022, this place was always packed. I remember having to wait outside just to get a table, and even local workers would stop by for a meal because the prices were reasonable. Fast forward to 2025, and I was shocked by how much the prices have skyrocketed.
Today, I ordered a sope for $15.99—yes, $15.99—and it was the size of a small hand. Absolutely not worth the price. The restaurant was empty, and now I understand why. While the food and service are still good, the prices are outrageous. Sadly, I won’t be coming back.
I hadn't been here in 25 years. The last time I was here, abuelita was still in the back making tortillas by hand. The handmade tortillas are still worth the price of admission—which is not that bad, these days. Such amazing food, and birria de chivo on the weekends. Hopefully I'll be back before another quarter-century has passed.
Food was tasty, service was quick. Definitely would come back again

I have to say, this place used to be good. However in the past few years, they got rid of the salsa bar, now they just give you one cup of their worst salsa, the portion sizes have decreased, the food quality has went down, and the price has went up. The people who operate it are also rude and treat you like you’re burdening them by being there. Not to mention they gave a raw tortilla that wasn’t even heated up and was a really poor quality meal for a $20 burrito. Hopefully they go back to the formerly great place they once were or go out of business and make way for something else.
Delicious food with authentic Mexican flavor.

The food here is great. Good service...taste just like your mom made it...or your abuelita did....don't see anything on the menu that would taste bad...keep you posted on that...good prices as well

I had an elote (corn) tamale and asada taco. Both were tasty. The taco was a good size and so was the tamale. I mistakenly thought there would be whole corn kernels in the middle so be aware there isn’t, however it was so tasty as made with a sweet corn flavor. I enjoyed it. My husband had the pollo bajio burrito and said it was tasty and he really enjoyed it. It too was large. The atmosphere was very casual. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics.
