I wouldn't really call this a true tiki bar. The decore had somewhat if a beachy resort vibe than tiki. And the drink menu didn't consist of original tiki drinks. Cocktails were served in regular glasses as opposed to tiki mugs. Not much tiki decor like you would normally see. It was nice though and the drinks were good. But if you've been to a real tiki bar, don't get expect the same vibe or atmosphere. I would call it a beach bar before I'd call it a tiki bar.

One of the best vibes and craft cocktails in Santa Barbara. Walked in to some 90s hip hop (not rap, but the classics like Jurassic five and hi-tek), grabbed a beautiful, not too sweet cocktail and walked out in a great mood!

This is a must-visit in Santa Barbara! The vibes are great, and so are the drinks. Bartender Edgar was the star of the show. There were tons of excited people clamoring for drinks, and he was super chill and friendly as he worked his way through all of the orders. His attention to detail on the flavor balances and garnishes never faltered, despite having so much to do!

Great atmosphere and cocktails - don’t let the Tiki moniker scare you away, drinks are incredibly well balanced and not at all sweet.

Doesn’t accept military IDs. Inconvenient and disappointing. I don’t drive so this is the only form of valid ID I carry.

As someone who usually orders a tequila soda or mojito at the bar, I actually could not decide which drink to try here! I came with my girl friend on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I got the Thai tea drink, and while it did not really taste like Thai tea, it was still VERY well-balanced. The whole menu was super fun and the bartender was very patient in helpful in recommending drinks.

The interior is super cute and there's plenty of outdoor seating. Would definitely come again!

Test pilot is a rum bar with some modern twists on tiki drinks, we stopped in on the way to LA from San Francisco and tried their signature cocktail which was crafted with care and delicious with a flavour profile worthy of exploring, the aniseed foam on the Test Pilot really made the drink that bit extra.

Thanks for hosting us.

Cool bar with excellent tropical drinks. We had the Montenegro a pineapple full of rum and fruit juices, it's for 2 people. We also had the purple potato Pina Colada and the Hotel Nacional. Great area, more local than State street.

Had a great drink. My husband had the bananacapa. I had the ube piña colada. Both were delicious. The wine bar next door had a dj that didn’t know how to dj, so sitting inside allowed us to not be accosted by his inability to read the parking lot. The music inside the bar was good. We didn’t have food (I don’t think they have food available).

Nice bar, not too far from the beach. Great water set up. I went there because Gemini recommended it
