Trattoria Vittoria has been our family's go to Italian restaurant since we moved to Santa Barbara. It remained consistent over 10 plus years. I am sad to hear of this fine restaurant closing
Don't get turned off by the bread that they bring to the table when you sit down. It's truly awful. The meal and desserts were however delicious. I was nervous the uneatable bread was a sign of the quality of the food to come but to my surprise the meal was great!
Trattoria Vittoria, a Santa Barbara staple, offers a consistent dining experience. Despite initial disappointment with the bread, meals and desserts are delicious. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant, although noise levels can vary depending on the evening's traffic. The bar is accommodating to custom requests. Some tables may be near the open front door, which can be cool, but asking for a rear table can solve this issue. Overall, Trattoria Vittoria provides a good experience with excellent food and service.
