Coming all the way from London we were delighted to stumble upon this gem in the Funk Zone, serving beer on draft and various foods. The oysters, location, and most of all the welcome we received were outstanding. If you are in Santa Barbara you should swing by, this is a great spot to visit. Our thanks to Ted for his most wonderful hospitality!

My party and I had a bad experience coming here, unfortunately. Initally everything was great the music was amazing.

I went to order "an order of tacos" the young lady at the bar misunderstood and only charged for one taco instead of one order of tacos. I returned to the register and let her know. I was given a stink look and she called for assitance to have it adjusted.
While they were adjusting she had blamed me for only ordering one taco and then "later changing the order".
I kept quiet and waited for the adjustment.

When the carnita tacos were brought to the table I had one bite. Personally I didnt like them and absolutely could not eat them.
When I let the male know he was very aggressive and offended.
He accused me of already eating one taco -I showed him my plate and explained I had taken a bite - and then he went on a rant about how I was the only person in five years that didn't like them.
He was very argumentive and offended.

I had enough of him being so aggressive and just told him he didn't have to return any funds back.

Anyway his approach was uncalled for and extremely rude and unexpected. He did end up apologizing after verbally basically singeling me out and attacking me. I just remained calm the entire time and replied "okay" to his rant.

After I left I checked my account then realized the young lady who initially took the order charged me twice.

It was a mess.

The flatbreads were a bit dry but ok. The fries never arrived even though we were assured they were coming. Other people were canceling orders because of the delay.

Look, I get that in Santa Barbara you pay an up-charge for the experience of "eating food in Santa Barbara" but paying 17 dollars for a salad that could have fit in a sandwich bag with room to spare is another level. The young woman serving us was kind, however, the only time she voluntarily interacted with our table was to ask if we'd be paying the $20 dollar cover charge to stay for the "live music" - a band that made themselves known by a shotgun blast of speaker feedback that ruptured eardrums upon soundcheck. The printed menu was missing at least 30 percent of the items listed on the website, and the restaurant was completely out of it's NA beer options. Ultimately, we paid 65 dollars to eat out of a food truck parked at a garage in the funk zone. Am I missing something?

Update #2: day 3 of 5 that we came here...I am addicted to the house fries and flatbreads...just come here already! It's so good!!!Update #1: We were at La Leiff Winery, and they let us order food , and they brought it over the winery! Talk about businesses working as a team! We also had some shell in our order of oysters, and the owner brought us an order to replace what we had. That says A LOT about the business that that care enough about the quality that they will fix the issue! Thank you so much Ted!!!Really enjoyed the food, we were so hungry and the food was so appetizing, we devoured it without a thought. The Shroomin' Flatbread was deliciously balanced with garlic, truffle, mushrooms, and flower petals. The House fries have a delicious chili and lime flavor with a lemon aioli dip (which are addicting, we have ordered them everyday they have been open since our visit here in Santa Barbara). The fries are honestly addicting with a great texture. I also had the salmon sandwich, which was a really lovely salmon filet on a brioche bun, which a delicious seaweed and cabbage slaw. Not only is the food really tasty, but the music is super FUNKY!!! They definitely live up to their name!

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at all, you roll right up to the business
