Fantastic! ?I have Celiac Disease and need to eat Gluten Free, my partner does not.We were thrilled to be able to share fantastic sushi, tempura, and other dishes together and geek out on the ingenuity of the flavors, textures and presentation! The mocktails were delicious! The service was great, thorough, and thoughtful! We cannot wait to go back!!

Dietary restrictions: Everything is inherently GF/Celiac ? Even the tempura! (there are 3 dishes that have a topping or bun that has gluten, which can be removed).

Servers are chatting with each other rather than greet customers, we waited a long time to just get served while the place is only 20% occupied, I waved and indicated, servers just casually walk pass and ignored, then they couldn’t explain the menu, food is over priced, mediocre quality… never coming back for sure. There is a reason that other places have long lines and this one is so quiet. The management should really train the staff better!

I come here quite often and I don’t write reviews but this is by far the best sushi in the area. Fresh, good service and nice staff 12/10

An average sushi restaurant that doesn't offer anything particularly special. However, its convenient location in a shopping mall makes it a pleasant spot to hang out with friends.

We had a great time here. Delicious sushi and friendly staff

We ordered veggie tempura, chicken karaage, bamboo dragon roll, spicy salmon roll, and grill mackerel. Everything tasted fresh and scrumptious. We weren't full after dining, as quantity was meager, but the atmosphere and quality of food made up for it. Service was friendly, and on point. Owner was very nice. We had a pleasant experience at bamboo sushi and will come back to try new food.

Unicorn roll was good, rainbow was only ok. Flower power drink tasted good but was small. Service was really slow though, we were waiting a long time for the bill.

Really awesome food and the staff is very attentive without hovering. The manager came by to greet us and ensure we were happy. The restaurant is very well appointed with beautiful tableware and linen napkins. Very posh and casual at the same time. Easy to spend more time than you expected, happily.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for sure

Dietary restrictions: They even ask at the outset if there are any allergies they should be aware of.

would give 0 stars if I could. awful food, worse service. wait staff not friendly, very slow. the food was bland, green beans were slimy, sushi was too thin and very fishy (so definitely not fresh). just awful, not sure how they’re still in business

Good cocktails and wagyu burger. The miso glazed black cod is very small and salty though.Sushi is kinda mediocre.

One of the best family restaurants in San Jose area. Big menu, great innovative appetizers, speedy and quality service, super clean. We enjoyed every visit. Our kids love their sushi and I love their appetizers.

We went at about 3pm on a weekday. The space is nice for drinks and a snack while shopping. Happy hour doesn’t start until 4pm, which was a bit of a disappointment.Sushi rolls were ordinary, nothing special. One of the signature rolls was sliced too thin, so when you picked up a piece with chopsticks, the thing just fell apart because there wasn’t enough rice binding the parts together. Veggie Tempura arrangement was haphazard and the pieces had an overly crisp outer batter. Tempura came with a sesame seed “ten-tsuyu-like” dipping sauce. Karaage came with a dill aioli which was splashed over about half of the chicken making those pieces inedible for me. Sauces should be kept separate and not touching. The Karaage itself was crispy on the outside and dry, not moist on the inside. Therefore, likely a frozen product. Conceptually, the restaurant serves fusion sushi for American people who’ve probably never had authentic sushi. But, this is what middle America probably thinks is REAL sushi.

The food was alright for the price, but the service is HORRIBLE. The staff do not know what they are doing and are impolite + unprofessional. Can't believe the screen at checkout prompted me with a 20% minimum suggested tip. Honestly, the servers and staff killed the restaurant.

Friendly staff, nice service, sushi was ok too.

Mediocre sushi, bad cocktail experience. Shocking that a restaurant at a prime location like this would turn out Meh! Rice on the sushi rolls wasn’t rolled well. I had a feeling that salmon wasn’t fresh. Ginger slices and wasabi wasn’t brought to us on time and it wasn’t fresh at all. Sever gave us a big monologue about how this is ethically sourced sushi restaurant but we won’t come back as the taste and quality is poor.
