I had came here for doing my stuff by laptop in chill vibe. But they didn’t provide coffee except brewing coffee and I should have order just cold brew, no choice. And just an hour later of staying here they told me to go out of space because there coffee machine is out of order but they didn’t tell me at the first time I ordered my drink.

The ambiance is nice and the staff is very helpful - the only thing that threw me off what the burnt smell of my croissant. Not sure if it’s an issue with the oven but this seems unacceptable if I’m going to pay $14 and it’s burnt. The lady who took my order was lovely and my drink was good - however the burnt croissant and it still being offered it to me overshadowed my experience here. They did mention it would take about 10 minutes, which I wouldn’t mind waiting for again to ensure this wasn’t burnt. I didn’t even want to throw it away bc it seemed rude but it was disappointing.

It’s a pretty nice cafe with one big flaw.
Went there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty full . I was able to get a table, though. They have free Wi-Fi so it was easy to work, although the Wi-Fi for some reason was not secure and a lot of my websites wouldn’t load. Got the iced vanilla latte, and it was really good. The staff was sweet and welcoming. They have a bunch of food as well, but I didn’t get any. They also have a table at front with a lot of interesting gifts and stuff you can buy such as labubu and charms. They also have a Photo Booth, which is very interesting and also a little bit out of place.
The major problem that I had with this place was that it was filthy. The table was dusty, and I had to wipe it down before sitting down. The windowpanes have a thick layer of dust and in general, the place look like it needed some serious cleaning which is such a shame because the baristas here are so nice.

My absolute favorite latte in this area is here - the iced tiramisu latte. It’s a great treat for the weekend!

Really slow service. Their stuff is pretty good and I go here all the time sadly just really slow service and no appreciation for their everyday customers

Horrible experience, very disappointing, I went by the pictures posted on the reviews and it wasn’t like that at all. They don’t have or don’t want to use mugs and plates for customers. They gave me the pastry on a crappy paper basket and a cappuccino in a to go cup even when I asked for a mug and plate.
People were there on their computers working without consuming anything. They have a bad service.
I did not ask for a to go order.

Every day I go for my American coffee with cream on top. My partner and I spent about 200 a month in this place, because girls always serve us well, I mean Latina girls.
Today I went for my coffee shop, and the cashier said that she cannot sell me a large American with cream on top, because the HONOR said he cannot sell the American with cream on top.
What??? Can someone explain what happened? And why did they run to a regular customer that way?

Cafe Big Mug is an absolute gem in San Jose—cozy vibes, modern aesthetic, and a menu that hits all the sweet spots (literally and figuratively). I stopped by recently and was seriously impressed with both the drinks and the desserts.
I ordered a mocha latte, matcha latte, and strawberry latte, and let me tell you—they were as beautiful as they were delicious. Each drink had its own unique flavor profile: the mocha was rich and chocolatey, the matcha was earthy and smooth without being too bitter, and the strawberry latte was perfectly sweet and creamy, with real fruit flavor.
For food, I tried the Nutella banana toast and honey bread toast—both were next-level good. The Nutella banana combo was warm and indulgent, and the honey bread toast? Fluffy, golden, and just the right amount of crispy on the edges. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this place will absolutely deliver.
The cafe is also super aesthetic—a great spot to chill, study, or catch up with friends. Service was friendly and fast even though it got a little busy during peak hours.
Also, if you're curious to see the vibes and what I had, check out my video on TikTok at @kingrodism—I post foodie finds and travel gems all around the Bay and beyond.
Highly recommend Big Mug for anyone looking to treat themselves. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Lots of tables and chairs for group meetings and/or work space. The matcha I got was good but 8 dollars felt v steep. The power went out randomly when we were there and the wifi is unprotected so my work computer wouldn’t allow me to connect.
I love the green tea affogatto and the coffee one.

Coffee is good but WiFi sucks, keeps disconnecting
This coffee shop is nice, but they don't have decaf coffee, and even their regular coffee is complicated to order (I asked for coffee, they said they can give me latte or americano). The staff were not that friendly in a few of my visits.
