California Pizza Kitchen at Santa Clara

Recent visit reminded me of the Chicken or the egg story (which came first). I was meeting someone new from a dating site and she wanted to meet for drinks. I arrive and there was no on at the bar. Was this because there was no bartender there, or was the absence of the bartender due to the fact there was no one seated there. I waited in the lobby and when the date came we both sat at the bar. We were eventually acknowledged and we had a couple of drinks and some appetizers which were good. There seemed to be a lack of energy about the place.

Food is great, it's value packed, but service needs huge improvement.... simply we couldn't get tv channel changed among three staff members!

I want to give a special thank you to Noe for his exceptional service. We walked in right before closing hours, and despite the timing, he greeted us warmly and attended to us with such professionalism and kindness. He didn’t make us feel rushed at all and ensured we had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across someone so attentive and dedicated, especially at the end of a long workday. Thank you again, Noe—you truly made our visit a great one!

Went in, sat at the bar, for several minutes, nobody was tending bar. However the manager was sitting close by at a table chatting with two servers. I got up asked if anyone was tending bar. One of the employees said the bartender is also a server and she’s busy. I responded questioning their socializing with the boss and ignoring customers. I walked out. The few times we try to patronize this place, employees are standing around socializing, complaining about management and ignoring customers. This place is poorly managed.

Very bad experience. The portions are not good and the taste as well. We were visiting this outlet for the first time

This is the best pizza place in the Bay Area. The pizza is delicious, the bread is freshly baked, the service is outstanding.

It was OK. Food was overpriced. Although that is the trend now, it didn't feel worth it.

We just ordered chicken picata with bread and utensils for four people for curb side pick up. We waited in the car for 15 minutes, then called the store they said they will bring the food out. Another 10 minutes went by, still no food. I walked inside and they all gathered in the kitchen talking l. My order was on the shelf the whole time I was waiting outside. Food is cold now and I will never go to CKP again. I will tag all my friends and family to this review.

Food was very good. Got the burger with smashed fries and a salad. The burger is amazingly flavorful and the fries were very crispy and not greasy. We had the chocolate cake for dessert which was expensive for the size quality and the single scoop of ice cream it came with.

The place is really nice and the service was great. Didn’t wait that long for the food. Plus the quality of the food was excellent.

CPK is half a mile distance from our house so we decided to give it a try today. This was our first order and is going to be the last. We ordered Margherita pizza, Wild mushroom pizza and Burrata pizza. Only the Margherita pizza tasted good. My husband picked up the food on time yet the pizzas were clearly cold. The biggest surprise was the Burrata pizza. They provided the burrata, basil and olive oil separately. I have never seen pizza being served like this. Are we supposed to bake it at home?

The server took a drink and food order and got a few simple things wrong. Could understand it if she was busy, but there were 3 servers with 6 tables at most. She had 2 tables and didn't come back to check if we needed anything until she brought the check. Asked the other server to see if she could get her for us, and she still didn't check on us. We will probably not be going back to this location.

The food was awful and the pizza tasted like it was microwave. For the price I could’ve made better food at home. Do not ever get the chipotle spicy chicken pizza they throw the whole kitchen menu on it. Th stake pizza was right.

Nice place to go, not much people around here. Perfect if you like silent.

Gourmet?? Pricey for the small sized servings.
