Solid 4 stars. Menu could use some more detail on the ingredients for people with allergies. Good place that is open pretty late!

We ordered the army stew and fish cakes, two dishes made with cheap ingredients that I usually elect to cook at home because it just doesn't seem worth it to order at a restaurant, especially when sometimes they don't end up tasting that much better, if at all. However, I wouldn't mind paying for it here because they put it together well and it is convenient not to cook. The fried stuff we tried, gimmari and the seafood pancake were bland and had way too much batter. There was only one poor guy working the front but he really tried. The atomsphere is loud, dark, and we couldn't find him half the time. There are also black curtains around some tables and cardboard cutouts for kpop idols endorsing soju.

Amazing server she was on top of it and the food was amazing as always. Recommend getting the kimchi fried rice with pork! And also try the fried gizzards.

Got kimchi fried rice with pork belly to go. Pricey and basic. Pork belly was dry and not good. Wouldn’t order it again. I was sober. Might taste better as a drunken food spot.

For a late night spot with friends, this place has a fun vibe. Dim lighting, K-pop MV's on repeat, and nice decor. A decent place for some late-night eats, but everythimg is on the more expensive side.We got the Supreme Chicken Wings, which were really good! So crispy, juicy, and they came out piping hot. The sauce was very flavorful and the mayo balanced out the sweet-and-sour glaze. I definitely recommend! The Truffle Fries were tasty and coated well in oil. But for $12... probably not the best bang for your buck. Decent portion though!

Hidden place in a strip mall, good place to hang out with friends. It’s a clean place with nice decor and the service is decent. The food is also good for what it is.I had the soft tofu stew with seafood and really liked it — a lot of squid (so if you’re not into that it might not be for you). I also really enjoyed the spicy squid stir fry.My friends ordered several soju flavors, corn cheese, fries, clam soup, pork fried rice, and buddae-jjigae. They really liked everything they ordered except for the guava flavored soju.****One thing to note is that if you have a party 6 or greater, then make sure you don’t double tip. There is an automatic gratuity 18% charge AND TIP that may not be immediately obvious on the receipt.****Overall I would return again for the atmosphere and the space. Just be wary of the charges.

Favorite spot for Korean appetizers & snacks!! I've tried a few around Ktown in Santa Clara and this one is the best. -Kimchi fried rice is best one I've had yet. It's actually spicy which I prefer & so flavorful- Spicy chicken wings; typically not a huge KFC person but this one was goood. The sauce was done just right for being a saucy chicken-Fishcakes, kimari, & tteokbboki on skewers were all solid as well!Only thing is, service can be a bit slow even if there's only two tables there (including myself).

We came on a Tuesday night around 9PM and it was pretty empty. We ordered the seaweed glass noodles and the spicy army stew. You can never go wrong with army stew. The spicy army soup was HUGE and could probably feed 3-4 people. The seaweed glass noodles were pretty basic and tasted like the ones from hmart. The dipping sauce for it was pretty good

Good vibes and laid back chill atmosphere at Danawa. Cane with a group of friends at 9pm on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all when we came, but towards the time we left it was packed, around 11pm! They blast Kpop on repeat and have a projection screen on one end of the wall showing music videos. Overall the food was decent for a Pocha, nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good, and our waiter was accommodating of my friends' egg allergy. The Seafood Pancake was delicious, perfectly crispy and chewy with a generous amount of seafood! The Soy Garlic Wings were amazing! Perfect batter and the pickled radish complimented them well. I didn't try much of the Spicy Rice Cake but from what I did try it seemed to be on par with other Pocha's in the area. Would come back again for the late night munchies!
