Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I was looking for a delicious steakhouse nearby and ended up going there. The food was surprisingly delicious. The Blue Moon beer was also delicious^^::

After returning from a LA trip visiting family and friends. We had a wonderful lunch here for the first time I have to say this location hands down has the best of everything.

Great ribeye steak. The sea food platers were outstanding, king crab, lobster, and mussels. We were a party of 20. Couldn't ask for better service. Private room was superb.

Enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere more than the food. It isn't that the food was bad, it just didn't seem worth the premium. The wedge salad was excellent, and the seafood tower was OK. I had the 16 ounce dry aged ribeye, which was cooked perfectly but had almost no seasoning. For a steakhouse, I would expect finishing salt, at a minimum. The steak wasn't bad, but tasted just like a steak taken orf the dry aging rack and thrown on a grill. OK, but not great

We celebrated our 14th year anniversary it is was great. Starting with accommodating a change in time. When we arrived there was a nice card. Our server Patric and Rudee made the experience extra special. The Australian steak was delicious!!

I know the Palo Alto location better because I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for my niece Cindy, but this location is part of the new Santa Clara Square location nearest my home. I had the filet mignon (medium but I should have gotten it medium rare) , brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, strawberry cheese cake (very good) and salad to start as did the rest of my table to keep it simple. But no red wine as the rest of my table. Service attentive and we were in a private room near the wine wall, but atmosphere lacking because work related. At my niece's dinner, I order Sonoma sparking wine and Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel for all. I save 5th star for perfect.

Our first experience was okay, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I was really looking forward to a delicious steak. Both my friend and I ordered a filet mignon, requesting it to be cooked medium. However, the first steak that arrived was well done on the edges and medium well in the center. We found it too tough to eat, so we asked for another steak.

While our waiter was very eager to ensure we were taken care of, management seemed displeased with our request and didn't appear to appreciate us as patrons. I understand that things don’t always come out right the first time, but it felt like the blame was placed on us.

For the second steak, they asked us to cut into it in front of them, which felt a bit awkward. I appreciate that they wanted to make sure we were satisfied, but it was an uncomfortable situation. The manager even had a smirk on his face when we told them that this steak was good.

My recommendation would be for them to take a lesson from the concept of unreasonable hospitality and focus on improving their steak-cooking skills during lunchtime.

our appetizers were delicious. We ordered the tuna poke and garlic, truffle, beef, tartar. I would definitely come back for those items. as a side with our steak, we ordered scallops, which were also very delicious.

They asked what we are celebrating when we arrived. As we were seated, there was a card and confetti on our table for our Anniversary. Such a nice gesture. Services are great and they serve high quality of food. They gave you a complimentary box of chocolates too. We had the best experience in this steakhouse. We will be back for sure!

Flemings never disappoints. 5 star food (not comparing to a Michelin star obviously) 5 star service, 5 star cocktails and an amazing wine selection for those real wine drinkers.

We've been to several Fleming's, but Santa Clara was outstanding! We went last minute on Saturday night and were extremely lucky in how quickly 7 of us were seated. Our server, Kenryk, and manager, Sohil, provided the best restaurant customer service we've had in many, many years! We highly recommend and will definitely go back again!
