I LOVE this place. This is by far my favorite sushi spot because of the quiet environment, and the amazing service. I think the business is run by and older man and his wife, and he helps serve every customer. He is kind and very attentive, and does his best to ensure that we have a good experience in his restaurant. This place has a calming environment, and has a somewhat nostalgic feel in a good way. There are many good options for food, such as ramen, curry, rice bowls, and a large variety of sushi that are very reasonably priced. The food is also very good quality, and better than some fancy, expensive sushi spots. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and I will always come here to fulfill my sushi cravings.

It's not a big restaurant and the inside is very basic and down to earth. They don't even set the table until the customers sit down and have ordered. There's only one man serving the store front. We tried the bento which has teriyaki chicken, salmon sushi, California rolls, tempura and orange slices and it comes with miso soup and a salad. Huge amount of food! I like tempura the best as it doesn't have a thick layer of coating. The snow lion King roll seemed a bit over sauced and I think the normal lion king is better as the mozzarella cheese is a bit too much and removes the unagi sauce flavor.It's a quiet night on Thursday night and I think competing against Sushi O Sushi in the same plaza doesn't give them the upper hand.

Good food at a good price. Dined in for 2, one vegetarian, and myself. Each got some miso soup, split an Agedashi tofu and veggie ramen, and got an order of avocado + cucumber roll and alaska roll (veg vs non veg), along with some hot tea. Everything tasted great, and rounded out to around $50 before tip.

Sushi here is always fresh and delicious. I ordered online and picked up my food. It was ready when I got there. Doesn't take long at all. I ordered before they opened at 5:00 pm and it was ready by 5:20 pm. I ordered the salmon teriyaki with California rolls and my daughters ordered the Hana Sushi roll combo which comes with 18 sushi rolls. All very delicious. Definitely recommend!

I came here because it's close to my work, and I've not had sushi in months, so it was definitely time I found a place close by!My husband and I walked in at noon for lunch and the place was dead empty. I'll be honest this scared me. But I saw it averaged high stars online so I figured I'd give it a try.My husband ordered ramen and I ordered sushi. My unagi roll had a very thick gloopy overly sweet sauce that I found almost inedible. The roll was not bad otherwise, but very little actual unagi in it. I got the small 4 piece California roll and it was not very good at all. And then I also got some nigri, salmon, and saba. I did enjoy the nigiri. The hot tea was delicious, but only came in one cup and I had to ask for a refill. Overall I still felt hungry after eating this, but had run out of time and had to go back to work. For the total price of $50 for lunch for 2 people I think the price was kind of high for what we got. I more than likely would not come back again, as there are tons of sushi to try in the area.

I love this place! For the past year, I have ordered take out from here at least twice a week for lunch. My rolls are always fresh and everything I’ve ever tried is delicious. My top favorites are the tempura roll, Oishi roll and Bay scallop roll. The sushi rice is always cooked to perfection and everything is always so flavorful.

Been going to Hana Maki Sushi for 3+ years. It is a locals’ spot. Interior is simple, clean and chill. The food is delicious and the price is more affordable than other places. Whenever I crave Japanese food - this place comes to mind immediately. The pic is from tonight’s dinner. I usually order a bento box but today I wanted just sushi and vegetable tempura with hot tea. Of course I had a bowl of miso which was light in flavor and came with tofu and chopped green onions. Seen families and couples and singles dining here. This is a wonderful place to make a regular haunt. Love that it is a mom-and-pop shop. The owner is super nice. Highly recommend you check this place out. ???
If you haven't been here then you definitely need to try! My favorite is the pineapple roll. It's delicious. It's honestly the best sushi I've ever had.

I've easily even going to this restaurant for 15 plus years since I was a kid. The owners have always been incredibly respectful and courteous Even to a group of raucous teenagers. While I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite sushi, it is always good quality and well priced
