Had the marinated short ribs and beef tongue which had a nice flavor cooked on the hot coals but the short ribs were a bit too chewy for our taste.
Biggest disappointment was they decided to close up 30 mins early without warning us (Friday night which they advertise as 9:30 closing, but they kicked us out at 9). When you’re spending this kind of money you expect to be able to actually eat your food when it’s freshly cooked, not have to take most of it home because you’re no longer welcome to stay. If you don’t want to stay open past 9 then update your opening times to reflect that. There’s plenty of good Korean BBQ options in this area and we will happily choose another one next time.

Way too expensive for what it is. They also cook for you which may be a good thing, but I wanted to cook our own food. That's the fun of BBQ at the table.
They cooked the meat too fast like they were in a rush. So it got cooked faster than we can eat so a lot of the food was just sitting around cold for awhile. They also tend to overcook the meat. A lot of it became pretty dry and crunchy instead of melt in your mouth. Such a waste of good meat... The sauces were also only okay.

Best thing about this place is the real charcoal grill. Much tastier than the typical gas grills. Probably in the future, all we will have is electric, so get this deliciousness while you can.
I usually get thin-sliced beef bulgogi, and some ribs - beef or pork. The staff will cook for you on your grill.
Then with all the side dishes, including a salad and dessert, it’s a feast.
Would recommend for anyone who likes the taste of real charcoal grilled meats.

Felt very pressured to leave even though the place was barely half full with the servers wanting to cook everything right away before we just started the first dish. Otherwise, the BBQ and side dishes tasted great. Old school vibe. Big empty parking lot with not many other stores in the plaza.
Probably only Korean bbq place with charcoal grill in South Bay. The food is decent. The interior is not fancy but still clean.

Came here with my mom and fiancée today. Service was excellent and they were very attentive helping us cook the meats and always refilling our banchans. The meat itself (Kalbi and brisket) were really good. For us, it was one of the better Korean experiences we had In the Bay

Kind staff, great food!Ssamjang and ssam(vegies) come as a default whereas you have to ask for them at some other korean bbq restaurants.It’s a bit pricey but the meat was tasty! Hansung galbi was very tender and delicious but ssaeng-galbi was a bit chewy.Cheese tteokbokki has a healthy taste(?) , no strong MSG style. And the cheese was sooo good!Staffs are so friendly but the pace of grilling was so fast that I had to eat in a rush somehow.Overall I ll def recommend Hansung BBQ to my friends!
