Hello Kitty Cafe

My opinion of the Bow Room tea service at Valley Fair. The tea room was stark and cold. The food is assembled but not prepare on site, so it’s all prepackaged. There’s a preset menu. I love sweets but there were too many offerings and not much savory. Our server was the best. She was patient, sweet, gentle, and kind and she made the experience pleasant. Would I go back or recommend it? Likely not.

This adorable cafe is pink from top to bottom. So many cute Hello Kitty details, such as HK sugar, toppings, sandwich cut outs. Its hard to describe the perfection.
Our group of 6 enjoyed tea service- just a warning that they do not have a gluten free option. April was our server. She took care of our every whim with a smile.

So fun! I highly recommend!!

This place is a must-go for Sanrio fans everywhere who also enjoy sweet treats. The pink atmosphere is so beautiful. I got the cinnamon donut holes during my visit, me and my sister found it sweet and sugary and we loved it a lot! 🩷💝 💖

I got the strawberry drink from there and the small birthday cake from the case , the drink was fine it tasted like a strawberry smoothie but the birthday cake was absolutely inedible , tasted like you bit into a bunch of chemicals , super dry on the inside I had to literally spit it out . Do not waste your time with the treats inside the case they sell .

Food is good . I love cake . Its just the drinks arent very sweet,, if u like like drinks that arent too sweet then go here.

I should have read the reviews. The food is awful and the service was worse. After waiting awhile I asked about my drinks and they asked what time I ordered (?). When I found and showed them my receipt they said they would make them again (??!) and put them in the back of the line.

Cute overload. Everything is themed: drinks, food, decor, all pastel and adorable. Food is okay, nothing special but Instagram worthy. Drinks are better than expected. Pricey for what you get but you're paying for the vibe. Good spot if you're into Hello Kitty or want cute photos. Fun once but probably wouldn't make it a regular thing.

Parking was a pain in the butt cuz it's knee deep inside a huge mall and traffic is real congested. If you leave the mall within two hours the parking is free though. I just wanted to run in and see what the hype was about and it was REALLY underwhelming. Small store front with a few premade/packaged treats, some drinks made to order, and a few items of merchandise. I didn't bother getting anything cuz none of it seemed appealing. The tea experience is advertised at $70 per person so I didn't do that either. But I genuinely expected something more. My pic is literally all you can access walking in.

We got the anniversary mug which is so cute and a must for any hello kitty fans.

They had a lot of merchandise which I was surprised it wasn't sold out.

The tea room is reservation and I think it's like 50 per person. It's an experience I want to do in the near future.

They have your coffee drinks and lemonade drinks too. They have your cute hello kitty face on the hot latte drinks.

Not so great food, over hyped, a ripoff - lack of transparency. Ambience - excessively pink, not so bright and cheerful like kitty.

Food: The tiramisu I ordered was liquidy, was expecting creamy texture and felt half cooked. My partner’s dessert, the strawberry shortcake had a stale crust. Coffee was Okayish. The best drink was the jasmine tea which is not even on menu.

Food presentation was great though.

Price: It was not transparent what was part of 30$ cover charge. The server said you can order desserts and drinks for two people, and when I asked about coverage, they just said “yeah.” When I was charged an extra 46$ for the 2 unappetizing desserts, it was just “oh no, so sorry it was not communicated properly, please pay.”

Such a ripoff. Could have easily had 5-6 better desserts at the Maison or another dessert shop for the same amount.
