Very good Korean bbq and comes very close to the good places in Seoul. However, the prices are outrageous. 65 usd for beef ribs which should feed 1 person is too much. Also got the spicy pork. Price and portion was better than the beef, but +40 usd for this portion was still a lot.

One slice of beef short ribs is $65🙂↔️ I find it ridiculous even in Bay Area . Expensive is just one thing but food is no good too🥲

The place was very busy, but our server was upbeat, helpful and altogether wonderful. The meats were great (huge prime rib was a good value) and the side condiments and soups were great. I highly recommend.
Dietary restrictions: If gluten free, get the un-sauced meats in BBQ and avoid soups. But there will be plenty other food/meat to enjoy.

The male owner here is really unfriendly. This is a place I go to eat occasionally, but I feel uncomfortable every time I see the male owner.
Seasoned ribs
it is delicious

A very Korean Korean restaurant :)
The beef in the beef soondubu is the best beef in soondubu I've ever had. The seafood soondubu had way too much cheap surimi (fake crab) and mussels and not much else. Just 1 big shrimp, 2 pieces of squid, and some clams (half the shells were empty). I was not asked what spice level I wanted; it was about medium.
The seafood pancake was thin and crispy on the edges but way too mussel-heavy too.
The rice cakes in the rice cake soup were overcooked and soggy/mushy.
Banchan were mostly too sweet. The kimchi, like the soondubu, was not very spicy.
Servers were friendly and efficient, answering the call button within seconds.

We had a reservation at 7pm for my fiance's coworkers birthday. A party of 10. The parking there was terrible. Some of our party had to circle around the parking lot a few times. There were a few of our party in front of the restaurant. They were told that they couldn't get seated until the whole party was there. 3 of our party were still circling the parking lot. When everyone parked we went inside to let the hostess know all our party was here. The hostess with the tattoos (Jenny or Jaime the place was super loud) was extremely rude to our group. She did not give us the courtesy to talk to us when we were outside waiting. She gave our table away because we were 7mins late. She didn't even try to accommodate us, she walked off. One of our party members went to find someone to talk to about a table for us. The rest of the party went outside the restaurant by the door to wait. A few minutes pass by while waiting on an answer about a table, they closed the door on us discussing our options. They apparently didn't want us there anymore because they could find us a table. So we ended up nextdoor to Tobang. The lady there was super nice and was happy to try to work with a last minute party of 10. The food there was delicious. Had a lot of good laughs. Too bad for this restaurant Korean Spring with a bad hostess who could figure out how to do her job. This restaurant is going to lose a lot of sales with her attitude. We looking forward to trying Korean Spring but now all I can tell people is that the people in there are rude.

The seafood pancake is awesome here! Rest of food is mediocre
I called in to make a reservation, knowing it was last minute, and they told me they already had their list for the day but that we could walk in and wait. They were full table but Thank GOD that the reservation table did not show up, and our group was able to sit in waited around 15-20 minutes, not sure.
They brought the food we ordered pretty quickly, and since it was charcoal-grilled, it cooked really fast. Loved it! Their Yangnyum Galbi was especially fantastic so tender. Highly recommend! ??
