This is the first time to dine in the restaurant. We ordered 3 items to share: a huge Omelette Rice, a curry rice and a ramen. Omelette rice was delicious, beef curry soup was different from others as it had only beef, no others. Ramen was also good. Good service, too.
*We went there the second time and ordered different items. The beef fried rice was so delicious. We also ordered a different ramen and of course, a huge Omelette rice. Wonderful!

Soup was salty and the noodle texture tasted like instant noodles.

Men Bei is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I'm convinced that the gyoza here is the best gyoza in Silicon Valley. Also, I love Hiyashi Chuka on the summer menu. It's so refreshing and perfect for beating the heat.

We had a takeout. The noodles were not that tasty. Fried rice was good but not that great. Our expectations were a bit more.

This was where I ate dinner before watching a San Jose Earthquakes soccer game. It was a great, cozy place that feels like a locally owned spot. Awesome customer service.

Restaurantji Recommends
Lots of ramen places locally and this is one of them.
To be blunt it's ok, it's not bad but it's definitely not something that I'd say is above average too.
Broth is ok, pork is fine, it's basically ok.
Gyoza was nice though.
Pricing wise it's a tad high too but it's not too out of line.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and they have such friendly staff.
I always get the vegan ramen with regular noodles and add an egg (I know eggs aren’t vegan, I’m vegetarian but love the vegan broth) totally recommend this place!

Overall, thought the ramen broth lacked a bit of rich flavour that I expect from ramen. It’s a healthier and lighter option if you are looking for that
I make it a point to go ones (or more)a month. I do not live close by. But it's a must !! Just GO !!

Extremely anticonsumer, minimum spending that is conspicuously above the price of one entre and and forbids sharing any food.
