Just average. Not bad. Not great. Meh. A stall at the mall. Several other better choices.

Looking for a quick bite or something not too heavy? This hits the mark in all the right spots! The salmon was a little salty but it balances well with the rice. I also got the eel and I'd get it again. I got the 2 onigiri set that came with karaage, edamame, and tamago. Karaage was a little fishy taste so I'm guessing they don't have a separate fryer but chicken was juicey. Edamame was typical but well made. Tamago I prefer to eat warm/hot but its served cold though still flavorful. All in all, amazing small spot and will definitely be back. ?Parking: People are vicious during the weekends. Drive cautiously and be aware in parking lots. Especially the free areas.

The rice balls ? are freshly made and delicious! I ordered spicy tuna and baked salmon. The spicy tuna one really stands out - fresh and flavorful! Highly recommend the spicy tuna (in the deluxe menu) if you’re trying to decide which flavor to get. They have so many varieties from their menu, would definitely come back and try some more! The food here makes a great quick bite or light meal.

Staff were wonderful atmosphere was amazing and the food was top-notch. Honestly, it was worth the money and worth the weight. I love eating here and I will definitely be coming constantly if I’m around here in the area especially here at the mall staff were treated me so kindly let me know if I need utensils automatically put utensils without me even asking would put napkins as well. Told me to have a wonderful day and that just lightened up my world, the food was amazing was fresh was warm was hot it was amazing nothing was raw. Nothing was bad nothing about it. It came with all condiments, sauces, and I loved It. After I ordered, they put all my food in a bag they pulled it to make sure nothing fell out, which was amazing amazing on their part overall 1000/1000 I loved it

I was excited when I heard about Onigilly's opening, but unfortunately, my visit left me a bit underwhelmed. I liked the concept of a quick, grab-and-go spot with a self-service kiosk, but the food was lacking. I tried the Koji Tuna Poke ($4.65), and while the fish quality was decent, there was no flavor. It tasted rather plain, and the rice, unfortunately, leaned towards the drier side. The potential is there, and I appreciate the quick service, but I hope they can elevate the flavors.

I remember trying Onigilly in SF for the first time and enjoying it. This is set up as a kiosk at Valley Fair and is easy to miss. I got the bento box which was good. Knocking a star off for the long wait despite being the only customer there.

The look is really nice. The way of the food handler made it was really clean. My friend said that the food is really good. I picked Sweet Siy Salmin Poke - Deluxe one. In my opinion, the food tastes enough like a poke bowl.Thank you for the food. Wish the store grow smoothly.

I honestly think that because I frequent VF often and saw the "Opening Soon" sign at this place for the loooongest time, I had high expectations for the food. When I finally tried it, I was a disappointed with the quality and taste. This review is only for the Unagi. FOOD The Unagi/braised eel had a deep fishy taste. It took a lot of effort to finish the roll. SERVICE Service was fine! No complaints here since it was a self order system. Handoff had not issues. AMBIANCE Located on the 2nd floor at VF, there's not much to comment about ambiance. I do plan to go back again to try another option.

I loved the onigiri ordered from Onigilly at Valley Fair! This is a great, convenient place to stop by and to have delicious Japanese food that is not too heavy and freshly made to order. The menu offers traditional onigiris and some that are new. For my first time here, I had the spicy shrimp and hijiki. This place is not a dine-in restaurant, but located in the middle of the mall on 2nd floor (close to Auntie Anne's Pretzel). There was a wait to receive food, but not too bad considering how popular and the long line.

Was craving a little snack as I was shopping and I was very excited to try Onigilly. I love onigiri, and they have so many great options here. I feel like prices are pretty reasonable too. I ordered on the screen, and my order took maybe five minutes to come out. I got the Teriyaki Chicken and the Unagi, both were very decent. The chicken and eel were flavorful and tender, and the rice was cooked well. I also really liked the ratio of rice and protein, since each bite had a bit of both. The only complaint I have is that the nori gets very soggy. They aren't packaged in that plastic divider that most store-bought onigiri comes in, so I feel like you need to either enjoy it literally right after you get it, or just expect soggy nori. I'm not sure there's a way around this, since each piece is made to order and is relatively fresh. Still a great option for a snack at the mall.
