Although the hostess and our waiter were polite, the ambience of the restaurant was dismal for a Saturday. Also, there was  loud music playing that didn't feel Greek. There were also depressing news on the TVs. It would be great if it were to be sports or maybe videos of Greece. Something to set the mood to be better.
We love this Opa! Restaurant staff and the food! Marco takes such good care of all of his customers. Even on days when staff is limited he's hustling around the joint tending bar, waiting tables, cleaning up, and staying super friendly! The place just would not be the same without him.

Opa! Santa Clara is known for its excellent food, with standouts including the zucchini chips and roasted 1/2 chicken. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff like Marco taking great care of all customers, even during busy times. The restaurant is lively, and the noise level can be high, especially when larger parties are present. Recently, tables were brought inside to accommodate more guests, which made the space a bit close. Despite occasional issues such as not checking back after serving food and not offering dessert, the overall experience remains positive. The Opa! Grand Sangria is a popular drink choice and complements the meal well. Some dishes, like the lemon chicken with orzo, have had occasional issues with overcooked chicken, but that does not take away from the many good aspects of the restaurant.
