This Peet's is so friendly consistently and fast too. Also, they always have my favorite, the maple walnut scone. I've had trouble finding it at other locations, but not here. Plus, plentiful parking and outdoor seating.
Peet's doesnt have the indie cachet it did all those decades ago. But it is still solid, you know what you will get, the people are nice, and fundamentally does what it is supposed to do. Reasonable coffee, reasonable atmosphere, wifi, and everything works. Thanks to the guy who grabbed my coffee and a huge cup of water, really appreciate it. I needed caffeine and to cool off.
